      Order birth certificate for mom and 4 times it was voided. Kept the processing fees. They should be investigating this company is a scam

      Horrible place to deal with. No less than a Hour and a half wait on the phone every time trying to talk to someone. After a fire. Needed my Wife's death certificate replaced. VitalChek, took two months just to tell me. No information could be found.?. Still Charged me Full Price !! Feel Completely Ripped off !!

      Everyone who works for this company, who is the only approved internet document company for the US government, should be prosecuted. This is beyond negligence in terms of their service.

      My mother ordered birth certificates online for an adult child on May 14, 2025. Email confirmation received indicated shipment by June 18, 2025. No additional communications have been received from VitalChek, and whenever we try contacting by phone, we are placed into a queue that no one ever answers.

      Got my Birth certificate in 24 hours. I’m in NC but I needed my birth certificate from NH. I ordered through VitalChek on the 23rd and received my BC on the 24th. I know people are having issues but my experience vastly superseded my expectations. 24 hours from order to delivery. There is a part in the application where they want a signature. If you don’t put one there it’ll cause long wait times. The signature didn’t take the first 3 times even though it acted like it did. I made sure it saved it before I continued. Maybe that’s part of the issue people are having? I’m not sure but I’ll 100% use them again if needed.

      Terrible experience. I filled out all required information correctly. The next day I received an email that there was an error. I called the telephone number that they provided me. I was on hold for more than 1½ hours with nothing more than music on hold and a recurring message that they would be with me shortly. Nobody got online. I sent two emails to the only email address provided to me. Received no response. I received a second email one week later stating that there was an error in my input and that I should call; otherwise, they would close out the account but still charge the processing fee. I called the number provided to me and was on hold for 1½ hours. When somebody finally got on the phone, they said that they couldn't hear me and that I should call back, even though I know that there is nothing wrong with my phone. THIS IS A SCAM!!! THEIR PERMISSION TO PROVIDE SERVICE FOR GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES SHOULD BE REVOKED!!!

      I ordered a birth certificate, they processed the payment immediately and I am still waiting for the birth certificates. Initially it said 7-10 days processing, then when the confirmation was received it said 10-14 days, it also said they would send an email when processed, never received. So I ended driving to a vital records office in the state of my birth to get copies as I needed them for an appointment. It has now been over 30 days and no certificates and they do NOT answer inquiry emails. I just filed a dispute with my credit card company for my money back.

      VitalChek sent out a request for my birth certificate to New York City not New York State like I specified. The total cost was $58 for them to tell me my record was not found in NYC. When I contacted customer service they were rude, dismissive and was not at all willing to refund my money. When I looked into what a copy would cost from the town I was born in it is only $10. Bad customer service and 6 times the price for a document. VitalChek is a SCAM
