      Submitted a online request for copy of marriage license from VitalChek, completed all the boxes as required and submitted payment information, it wasn't until after all this was completed that they notified me that the County where license was from required additional notary process/form, when I printed the notary form from their website it had the information printed on the form incorrect, there was NO WAY to go back and edit the form information!! There was no NO customer service number listed on website, you have to email them! NOT a user friendly website!! They should list additional information is required for the County BEFORE they take your payment!

      Super fast taking money , 3 months and still waiting for Birth Certificate?? the cust service line is a joke I called 3 times over an hour each call never did get ahold of them by phone. Had to email them for response and still have no confirmation of document being processed yet .

      Vitalchek took my money and said they shipped the item *** but *** tracking number they issued says no package!! On hold for 90 minutes while they tell me how important my call is. LOL. Their customer service is impossible to contact

      They will trick you in to paying 20$ for shipping when it’s not necessary they make it complicated to be able to change it

      It's been 20 business days since my order was "approved for processing and will be transmitted in the next business day." Six business days ago, I submitted a request to them via email to have the service expedited, and have yet to heard back. I've currently been on hold for 35 minutes trying to call them to ask about my order, since my assumption was that it was "stuck" in a Transmitting status, and someone should be able to push it out manually. I've essentially given up on anyone answering the phone.
      Calling was in itself difficult to do; their number is not listed on their website - I had to find it on the website for South Carolina's Dept of Vital Records. I will likely be submitting a chargeback for the fees I wasted on this government-sanctioned and advertised scam.

      I wish I could give NO STARS. Fraud. Scam. They are taking advantage of people left and right. With no grace or mercy. You can read in their replies to customers on here how unsympathetic they are. And they don’t care, because all they want is your money, they don’t care about repeat customers or establishing a good relationship with customers. Just directly contact vital records in the state and county where your document is needed. You will get it for less money and in less time. This business should be shut down! Just look at the amount of complaints and the fact that it has one star. I wish I knew I knew. Currently disputing the charges through my bank.

      I filled out their online for for birth certificate, uploaded the required ID and then several days later they said I was missing a "Identity Verification Form" and directed to go back to their website and log onto my order and use my pin to finish the app the submit the form. After logging back in, there is no such form. It does not exist. I emailed their customer service but after digging hard they have almost all complains, and I suspect every one of the 5 or 4 star reviews at various websites are fakes filled out by AI. These owners are really bad people.

      I ordered a birth certificate on March 5, 2025 and the confirmation e-mail from Vital Check stated the estimated delivery date would be April 9. It did not arrive and I tried several to call the number provided and only got a recorded message to send them an e-mail. My e-mails were never answered. I thought perhaps the delay because they were overwhelmed due to the deadline for Real ID. I called again on May 24, 2025 and actually talked to a live person. She had trouble finding my application so it took awhile but finally told me it would be processed in 24-48 hours. No explanation (or apology) was given and I finally received the birth certificate on 5/30/25.

      Ordered birth certificate. No response after 3 days. Opened chat. They said I woukd receive in 150 days. Unaccaptable. Requested refund. They declined.
