Condo burnt down new years 2023, we had rental insurance, we get informed that the renter is getting sued for neglect that caused fire. The fire department said the fire was faulty wiring. Need a copy of lease. Contacted Mizti via email on December 15th 2023. Then again, again and again! On December 27th the person that cosigned this lease reached out to signal view via email & phone call! Was hung up on first time, second time was talked to like I am a dog! Do not rent from this place, they will not talk to you correctly, they will give you the run around, they do not keep up with maintenance or fire extinguishers! As for Mizti, she is very unprofessional and should be fired!

On 8/2/23-8/3/23 I reached out to the property Manager expressing my interest in an apartment. On 8/11/23 I further explained that the VA was assisting me in my move via VASH/HUD Voucher. I made multiple trips to the property between 8/2023-9/2023 from **********, TN., which is a 2hr round trip. During these trips they made copies of ALL documents from the VA including the HUD Voucher and exactly how much it allowed me towards rent, utilities, etc. Meanwhile, upon request, I submitted a $65.00 money order as an application fee (conveniently non-refundable!) I call the property the first week of September and the secretary informs me that, "We do NOT except Vouchers at this property"). I quickly emailed the property Manager and she responded on 9/7/23 stating that she was unaware of a Voucher! I promptly explained to her about all the trips, emails (explaining the Voucher). They knew exactly what this was well before the application fee was ever submitted. On 9/8/2023 the property Manager emailed me back and stated, "I will be happy to refund the application fee, let's talk." That's the last communication with this property!!! My emails, calls, visit have all been ignored. In the meantime, I have secured a nice, clean, safe apartment for myself but are having some trouble letting this one go. It's shady, dishonest business practices to say the least.

We are writing in response to the review submitted for Signal View Condominiums by Ms. Tammi C*****, which has been assigned the case number *****. We take all concerns seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address this matter.

Firstly, we want to express our commitment to maintaining a transparent and fair application process for all prospective tenants. Our goal is to provide a safe and quiet living environment for our residents, and we invest significant resources to ensure that those who reside within our community meet our established qualifications.

As for Ms. C*****'s complaint, we understand that she expressed frustration regarding her application process and the use of a voucher. It is important to clarify that throughout the initial stages of her application, there was no explicit mention of her intention to use a voucher. This information only surfaced deep into the application process.

Despite this, we recognize the inconvenience caused and take customer satisfaction seriously. To address the situation, we voluntarily refunded Ms. C*****’s application fee, even though it is our policy that such fees are non-refundable. We believe this demonstrates our commitment to customer service and our willingness to go above and beyond to resolve any misunderstandings.

Furthermore, we expended both time and financial resources in the thorough vetting of Ms. C*****'s application. However, as a matter of policy, our community does not accept vouchers. Despite this limitation, we went the extra mile by providing Ms. C***** with a list of area complexes that do accept vouchers. We believe this proactive approach aligns with our commitment to assisting applicants in finding suitable housing alternatives.

We genuinely regret any inconvenience caused during this process. It is essential for us to uphold our standards while still striving to be as accommodating as possible. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify our position and demonstrate our commitment to customer satisfaction. If there are any additional details required or if you would like further information on this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us .

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we appreciate the Better Business Bureau's dedication to facilitating fair resolutions between businesses and consumers

Having lived there from 09/2015 to 06/2019 (almost 4 years) here is what i have to say. The apartment they rent are pretty old. Expect dirt and cracks on the walls, floors and ceilings. The one i lived in was on the D block which i think is even worst. We had numerous times when the apartment above us has leaky bathroom and the water literally poured on top of our bed, one time at around 2 am at night that it poured the dirty water on top of our bed. We lost our sleep, had to take all our bed sheets/ mattress and comforters to laundry and lost a days work. This followed by maintainance team visiting the apartment for almost a month to fix the issue, but the issue never completely fixed. We left the apartment and got a house. But our move out was made terrible by the apartment manager ***** who charged us $800 under several titles and never returned our $300 deposit. I would like to warn anyone who is looking to move into this Apartment. You May be Up to a very bad experience..... Please BE CAREFUL !!
