I received a parking ticket by this company yesterday. I have parked in this lot for years, YEARS, and did not see the signs for parking payment that were recently added. I understand that this is now a pay to park lot after hours and it's on me to pay the ticket. I feel like a fair person and I take accountability for not paying to park; however, the $4 service fee to pay for the ticket seems unreasonable. Also, there is no other way to pay than to pay the additional $4 service fee. This is burdensome and seems unethical, and it seems this is a clear avenue for this company to extract more money from each person ticketed. Just seems unethical and in bad faith for this company to charge that much in a service fee.

I had never visited the business or the area where it is located. I parked in a lot that appeared to be a bank parking lot after 6 p.m. I didn't see any signage indicating payment was required. Imagine my surprise when I returned to my car less than 2 hours later and found a "ticket" for $40 on my car. This is obviously an abuse of innocent parties by not posting signage which is easily observable.
I'm fine to pay for parking when I know I'm being charged, I can make a choice. But this is not okay.

This is not a good way to do business and does nothing to promote good will in our city.

I am a member of ******** ***** *** ******** and pay a monthly membership fee. I have always gone on Sundays and parked in their lot. There was no signage that it's paid parking now and I was not informed by the owner to validate. Now I have a $40 parking fee for a spot that I was legally parked in. I tried to call the company and explain but they have no phone number. The only way to contact them is through a form.

There is a bank parking lot in downtown Huntsville, Birddog parking has taken over this lot. The signs are only facing you if you are in the lot, the signs are blank from the road, while you park, and there is nothing showing on the parking slots that a payment should be made, no numbers, etc. I saw nothing while in the lot to even suggest a payment needed to be paid. On the back of the blank sign it says Public Paid Parking after 5 pm and weekends. Nothing suggesting how to pay or where to pay. After I went back to take pictures of the sign, I thought that meant the bank was paying for us to park there after 5 and on the weekends, which I thought was weird. All places downtown after 5 are free, except this place - which no one knows there is a payment that has to be made at an invisible place that isn't even on the sign. There is no kiosk to suggest a payment must be made if someone even notices the signs, you have do do something to pay them - which I don't know how to pay them other than when I got this notice that said I parked illegally. That should be illegal in the first place. That's ridiculous entrapment. I am going to the bank also and complain about this also. The charge for unknowingly parking in a lot with signs you do not know to notice in the dark once you are in the lot is $45.00 which is insane, if you park wrong during the day in Huntsville, the city only charges 10 dollars. I have pictures which you will see below. They are refusing my dispute which is ridiculous.

    Good day,

Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns and we appreciate the feedback about your parking experience. The signs at the entrance do indicate that the lot is paid parking after 5pm and on weekends. We have placed orange signage throughout the lot with QR codes for parking lot patrons to pay for parking. I am sorry you missed those, and I have attached the signage as backup.

    Have a pleasant day.

I used bird dog parking, I submitted my payment electronically over my mobile device twice in a row. Second request gave me a message of up duplicate request as if the first request already went thru. The website did not provide any other information. I was also not able to check how much time I had left like other parking websites do. I believe their website is purposely confusing to allow them to give maximum citations for $40.00/$60.00 dollars later.

I parked at a deck in downtown Chattanooga. It was not clear if parking fees were required or not, but since there were a lot of the bird dog signs we assumed yes parking was paid. Since the QR code wasn’t scanning I used the text number and paid for 2 hours of parking. We left before our time was up and there was still a parking ticket for $20-$40. The ticket was issued while we had over an hour of parking left. I even verified with a very nice Chattanooga cop that parking was ok and verified the public parking as we were walking out. On top of it all, there is no phone number available on the website or the parking ticket to reconcile the issue. I paid their parking fee in good faith, I expect a business to operate in good faith as well. We will never park in a bird dog lot ever again not am I paying a bogus parking ticket.

I am a senior citizen and YES I have a serious complaint!
BIRD DOG PARKING appears to be a "scam" operating in broad daylight. Yes I did park in one of their lots for an event across from the Chattanooga Convention Center on Saturday, 9/17/2022. I don't deny that; however there were numerous vehicles parked in this unpaved lot. I had a $40 parking violation ticket on my windshield within 30 minutes of parking there. I know this fee is OUTRAGEOUS. Several complaints have been filed with BBB and this company has a rating of 1 (one). I plan to contact the Mayor's Office in addition to the local news to expose this no good company. ALSO, I cannot pay "ONLINE". There should be a better option.
