      My car was stolen and recovered by Bos shop and towing. They never notified me to pick my car up until they sent me a bill in the mail for 1900 dollars. I never knew where my car was. They would not negotiate a *****. They wanted me to buy my stolen property back. THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST AND NEED TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS. They are hurting innocent citizens and it is not right! I just want my car back!

      This vehicle was towed at the request of the *****************************. Their process of notifying the owner would have to be discussed with them. As far as I am aware they contacted the initial police department where the vehicle was stolen from. The bill owner received was not ******* as the photo shows and we did offer a lowered rate to pick up the car. see attached images of text messages.  If the vehicle was insured, the insurance would have taken care of tow bill. I am sorry their vehicle was stolen, I hope they find out who did it. I am also sorry they feel they should have been given their vehicle back. That is not how towing companies work.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The initial tow bill of 245 dollars would have been fine but it sat there for over 21 days without my knowledge of my car being recovered. I had liability insurance so an insurance payout was not something you were ever going to get. Police told me that tow companies usually only charge people for the tow bill when theft was involved. I do not believe I should have to buy my car back. Its wrong and its unethical. It costed you zero dollars for it to sit on your lot.
