My monthly bill was $55 at renewal the new bill went to $72. I called customer service and requested rate change or cancellation or to please cancel. They did not change my rate or cancelled my service. I sent a request in writing on their app. I also called customer service and they were so helpful she said she would fix my invoice. The following month no service was provided and again they invoiced me the wrong rate. I was unhappy with their service because they killed my grass. My new sod I paid $3500 for. Instead of helping they ignored the service calls and continued to bill at the wrong rate even though the service was never provided. I have filed a dispute with the credit bureaus and them in writing.Business Response

TruGreen called and spoke with *** ********* on 6/20/25.TruGreen apologized about his billing concerns. Our records indicate that on 6/6/24 there was an open balance in the amount of $184.03 for services completed on 3/1/24(weed and feed), 3/28/24 (sulfur) and 4/2/24 (weed and feed). TruGreen advised *** ********* that our records reflect that when we spoke with him on 5/29/24 he agreed to pay online. *** ********* completed an online survey on 6/6/24 advising that TruGreen s billing was incorrect and that he would pay the bill once it is fixed also, he did not get the last service. TruGreen called and spoke with *** on 6/6/24 regarding his survey feedback. TruGreen agreed to credit the $71.73 since this charge was not the $55.15 as ************. ********* provided his credit card information to process the remaining balance of $110.30. TruGreen did not receive those funds from *** ********** banking institution as to why it was forwarded to our third-party collection agency on 6/15/24. As a good faith gesture TruGreen has forgiven the $110.30 for services rendered in 2024 and $133.80 for services that were rendered also sent to our third-party collection agency on 12/20/2023. TruGreen treated our lawn WITHOUT our permission, and left a bill on our door under someone else's name. We called them to inform them of their mistake. They said they would take care of it. We got another bill and called again, and they once again said they would fix it. If I could go back in time, I would file a police report for trespass and spraying of unwanted chemicals on our property, but we unfortunately gave them the benefit of the doubt this was an honest mistake. But they keep sending us bills and refuse to fix it despite repeated communications.Business Response

They had called to start service and i told them i did not have the money until July. They attempted to send on multiples occasions even i textef the salesman **** Hunsinker on may 31 asking to cancel the contract. Today i receivef a bill. TruGreen attempted to reach Ms. **** 6/13/25 via phone and email. TruGreen apologizes for Ms. ****** experience with TruGreen and the services being scheduled prior to when she requested for them to start in July. This does not align with the level of service and customer service that we strive to provide to our customers. ****************** was cancelled as requested on 6/4/25, and there is a zero balance on the account. The letter Ms. **** may be referencing is the Welcome Aboard Letter/prepay offer that is generated at the time of the service being initiated and likely was already in the post office's possession when she cancelled the service. Trugreen collected my payment for lawn care then refused to provide the service I paid for. Now they are delaying refunding me the money that I paid for the services that they did not deliver. After purchasing the service May 12, they told me they would provide the services in 10 days. After calling they then said it was actually 10 business days. I called again and they said they were scheduling the service for June 11. I called today, June 12 a month later and they told me they are in the process of scheduling the service. I asked for a refund they told me 10 business ***** want my money back today and I am filing an official complaint for them not providing the service they took the money for and promised. It needs to be understood that lawn care is completed in seasons, I spend the spring season waiting for services never rendered by Trugreen.Business Response

On May 15th 2025, I called trugreen of orlando fl , phone ************ to get a price quote. the representative asked info for my name, address,and email to get the price quote. I got a price quote by email. I only print out the quote and did not sign up for any trugreen program. . June 7th, Trugreen send a Truegreen truck to my house and the tech try to apply chemicals on my lawn and I refused and told him to leave my property. June 7th about 11:30 am called the trugreen company that I request the price quote, I told company representative that I did not have any acocunt with them and do not want their service. First they lie that I have account with them. The trugreen representive gave false info about the fake account they created without my permission. They used fake credit information which is not mine. I told them it is a fake acccount they created without my ********** They agreed to delete all my personal information, the fake account, stop spamming phone calls, stop sending trugreen truck to spray my lawn. stop the sending the sale person to my house. They told me they will do as I requested and investigate about this fake account that they created. They agree to send me a confirmation letter when it is done. Instead they send me a misleading letter in the mail that seem to sign me up to three different trugreen lawn programs that I did not agree to or ask for. I never sign any documents by paper or electronically to any of trugreen lawn service programs.I want trugreen to delete the fake account that they created without my permission and delete all my presonal informations. stop calling me or coming to my property . thank you.Business Response

TruGreen informed Mr. **** that his account is fully canceled and we have issued a refund for the service that TruGreen performed in 2025, refunds normally take about 3 to 5 business days for the consumer to see back on the credit card. I want to clarify that I called trugreen on May 15 for a price quote. I gave my name, phone, and email only. I did not
give Trugreen any credit card information. I also told Trugreen customer service on June 7th that the credit card that they have on file is not mine. I do accept Truegreen refunding the credit card that they charged and cancel this account.

TruGreen spoke with *** **** today. *** said he did not mean to reject the resolution. He asked me to reply with the same resolution TruGreen entered previously. TruGreen did explain that the refund would be issued to the card holder.

complaint against TruGreen due to ongoing fraudulent billing practices, daily harassment via phone calls (up to eight times per day), and repeated dishonesty from their representatives. Despite multiple attempts on my part to resolve this matter, TruGreen continues to contact me about a balance I do not owe for services I did not contract for.I originally canceled my service with TruGreen in 2022, and again made clear in 2023 that I no longer wished to receive services at my rental property. Despite this, in April 2024, a local contractor claiming to represent TruGreen fraudulently charged my card and insisted that services were performeddespite my security cameras proving no such activity occurred. I reported this immediately. **************** apologized, removed my card from file, and confirmed my account was closed.However, the calls persisted throughout 2024. In November 2024, I was contacted again about an alleged balance, and was told that notes would be made to my account and the calls would cease. Once again, nothing changed.Most recently, in April 2025, I began receiving calls again regarding new services allegedly performeddespite the fact that I have not contracted with TruGreen at all during 2025. I was again apologized to, told a credit would be applied, and assured notes were added and that calls would stop. Yet every single day, I receive the same call from a different representative who behaves as if no record of my repeated complaints exists.I have begun recording these calls as evidence of the harassment and misrepresentation. It is clear that TruGreen, or the contractors acting on their behalf, are either engaging in systemic negligence or willful deception.Business Response

TruGreen has removed the Balance on account **********, the rental property. The balance on 7008624447 home address was already removed. TruGreen has added all properties to our eternal do not contact list, we have also flagged all accounts as a do not reinstate. I let Mrs. ****** know that the credits normally take 24 hours to post, and we have updated her account not to receive collections calls. TruGreen spoke with Mr. **** and apologized that he was not notified of the price increase for 2025. TruGreen does reserve the right to increase pricing due to product/industry cost increases, but price increase should be communicated prior to taking effect via the customer's invoice or work order summary. It was found that Mr. **** was not notified of the 2025 increase. TruGreen has agreed to waive the 2025 price increase and apply the 10% discount Mr. **** had for the 2024 season. Mr. **** has agreed to continue service with this offer. TruGreen has advised Mr. **** that the 10% discount is valid for the 2025 season only and to keep an eye out on his invoices/work order summaries for any future increases.Initial Complaint

I ordered a one time 50% deal left in my mail box. The technician was in my property for 5 minutes and put two small flags and put the chemical in two spots and left. I was sent bill for two services. One for a 50% offer and another $80 for soil lime treatment. I never ordered the soil lime treatment. According to Truegreen contract a specialist will come to take soil sample from different parts of the property and recommend the lime treatment. No specialist came and no soil sample was taken just sent me a bill.Business Response

TruGreen attempted to reach **** **** 6/9/25 and left a message. TruGreen apologizes for any confusion or miscommunication surrounding the services at the time of sale. TruGreen does not take soil samples for individual properties, but takes samples at a region level to recommend the best program for the area. **** **** agreed to our TruCore program which is 7 applications of fertilizer/weed control and one lime application per season. As the lime application is a different product/treatment, it may be completed at the same time as a regular application. TruGreen apologizes if **** **** was not made aware of this possibility. Both the lawn application and lime application totaling $118.42 were credited on 5/29/25, and the account was cancelled on 3/14/25. There is no balance on the account.Initial Complaint

I purchased a lawn care package from TruGreen after sales rep ***** **** assured me it included 19 visits7 for lawn treatments (weed control, fertilizer, lime, pre/post-emergents), 7 for tree/shrub care (insects, disease, fertilizer), and 5 for mosquito/flying pests and fire ant service. Despite paying in full, the services have been a disaster. They come and dont know what to do they were supposed to start 4 weeks after but they kept sending someone even though this was all explained. TruGreen claims they treated my property for fire ants 23 weeks ago, but my 360-degree cameras prove no one arrived (the technician drove past at 10:17 AM). Ive called three times, and each time they blame a 'wrong address' or promise a callbackbut no one ever comes. ***** **** now ignores my texts and emails, despite initially promising support. Theyve only completed 2 services, yet send false confirmation emails stating the fire ant treatment was done. This is unacceptable. I demand a full refund and immediate cancellation of my contract. TruGreen will investigate what occurred during the initial visit and coach the other associates regarding the internal service failures that occurred. TruGreen attempted to reach Mr. ****** via phone and email 6/5/25. TruGreen apologizes for any confusion surrounding Mr. ******** billing from his 2023 services. TruGreen does not have any cancellation fees. TruGreen charged Mr. ****** $80.03 on 7/13/23 for his mosquito application, $136.02 on 7/14/23 for his lawn and grub control services, and $39.47 for his mosquito application. Mr. ****** cancelled his account on 8/1/23. Mr. ****** was not charged after the 7/14/23 charges for services. TruGreen sent this information to Mr. ****** via email as well.
