      I hired TruGreen several years ago after I had a severe infestation of grubs that destroyed my lawn. They said that they treated lawns for grubs. They even sent out a specialist to test the lawn and said yes I did have them. And they treated my lawn . Since this is a reacquiring problem I assumed that it would be treated annually. But after 2 years I noticed more grub activity and again first there was denial and then argument and then finally they treated just areas. Then this year the same. Finally they came out and treated after I noticed bare spots starting and found grubs again. I began to pull out large clumps of grass and under the grass were grubs. I called again this morning and they said that they could come out and treat for them. I said that I already did it myself. Then they had me on hold and came back and said that in my area they didnt treat for grubs! And Than I told them that I wanted them to reseed my lawn. Then they put me on hold and hung up on me.

      Thank you for reaching out to us.  A member of the corporate care team coordinated a property visit from the local office.  The service manager who visited the property spoke with the customer, and we agreed to aerate and seed the lawn to help the affected areas recover. This service was completed on November 1.  We have made multiple attempts to reach this customer since the application was completed to ensure they are satisfied, but have been unable to reach them.  If there are still concerns, we will be happy to discuss them with the customer and work together towards a resolution.

      I hired True Green to treat my trees and plants. They sprayed them when it was 118 degrees outside. This caused them to discolor and die. Over 30 plants and 5 trees. ****** **** has admitted to the damage and said that their insurance would handled it, so they have not contacted me. This has been go on for three months.

      More Information...                                              Letter to True green Chemlawn !!
      I hired True green Chemlawn to come out and spray my trees and shrubs.  I also asked to only come on Thursday to to spray because, I would be here and make it easier to access my property. 
      They did the first time but after that they only came out when they wanted to.  Very inconvenient. True green sparyed the first time on 2/22/24 second time on 3/08/24 third time on 5/28/24.. So far so good.  The forth time they sprayed on 07/02/24 the temperature was approximately 118 degrees.  I thought that it was to hot out for this but they did it any way.  This is where the problem started. Days later my trees and shrubs started to show signs of stress and discoloration.  My Italian Cypress look very poor the trunks were starting to split and burn.  
      I contacted True green and asked them to please send someone out to look at this problem.  They did not. I called three times to corporate office and got no help.  Finally ****, manager from True green local came out to view the property.  I was surprised to see see that he was not knowledgeable about what kind of trees and shurbs I had.  This was not a good sign.   At that point we  tried to work together to solve this problem.  After numberous  calls and message **** finally got a Licensed  Arborist out to inspect the issue at hand.  *** ********* Certified Arborist ISA #We-11828A came out to inspect my property .  *** said this is very simple it is chemical burn.  There is no way of getting around this.   **** said that their insurance company would handel this.  At this point I have not gotten even a call from them.

      I ***** gotten MOON Nurseries  to come out and access damages , and what it would cost to correct this problem.  ************ was recommended by ****.   True green so far has been the worst company to deal with.  True green is so big that they dod not care about their customers.  
      My property is one quarter of and acer.  Thirty five years ago I spent ****** on landscaping my property.  I have a huge back yard and have used this for along time with my six kids and five grand babies.  This was our place of comfort.  Not anymore thanks to True green!!!!
      I am asking for help from State Contractors Board and Better Business Bureau.  I will also be in touch with the City of ******** ************** to help .  If not the  I will hire a Law firm.    Thanks   **** ******* ************  *************************************************!!!!

      More Information...Dear ****  I have not been able to respond to this complaint until now.   It has taken several months for true green to respond to me.  They have offer me a settlement of ****** for damages , this  is  only 1/3 rd of what has been done.  I have no choice but to ask for more help in this process.  Please contact me and let me know what else can be done at this time.  ************ is taking advantage of the little guy, and should not be able to practice putting chemicals on peoples property without consequences.  Thank for your help in this matter.  **** Kimpton  ************    #********

      I started services with TruGreen April 2023 & was told it was $500 something for the year. I repeatedly contacted customer support due to no improvement in the weeds over the following months and received various explanations, including:-It takes months to notice a difference.-I wouldnt see results until completing a year of service because I missed the pre-emergent application.-I would need to completely re sod my yard to effectively eliminate the weeds. After several months of follow-ups the local supervisor finally came out & informed me their technicians had been using the wrong product on my lawn. While switching to the correct product resulted in some improvement with the weeds, it killed large patches of my St. Augustine grass. Now my yard is worse than when I signed up with ***************************** just sent me to collections for a bill I made very clear I wasnt paying until they could show me they would actually treat my weeds. I am the caregiver to my husband who is totally dependent & bedbound, have 2 children Im raising on my own & have custody of my 2yo granddaughter. I paid for a service to help me be in compliance with our HOA because I have tried everything & dont have 4 hours to mow & edge my yard every 4 days. I shouldnt have to pay for a service that wasnt provided, especially when I now have to pay to fix my grass TruGreen killed.

      I have been using Trugreen for the past 5 years. Over the past 3 years I have had nothing but problems. I have contacted them hundreds, literally hundreds of times about failure to provide ********** the end of 2022 I had made numerous complaints stating the services were not being provided and I wanted to be refunded. They offered a lawn makeover instead of refunding. I told them I wouldnt pay another dime until the results were delivered and I wasnt going to pay for the makeover because I had already paid for the services that werent delivered. Last year, early spring of 2023 I made complaints that they had not delivered services and had charged me for what should have been a free makeover. Again and again they said they would take care of it for free and continued to charge me. Stringing me along over and over again saying they were doing to fix it and it did not get done. I told them I wanted a refund and to cancel services. They said they would get someone out there to do the makeover for free then again I was charged with still no results. I was told on June 28th by manager ***** that I would not be charged again. Still no results and I have been charged $140 per month all summer for these services I told them I wanted canceled. I need to be refunded for the past 2 years but theyre saying they dont do refunds. I want them to be held accountable.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have been complaining about this company for 2-3 years now. Every time I am told that they will come out and fix the problem. I have declined their offer to do so over the past few years and every time that I call to cancel they state they want to fix the problem. I tell them I am set on cancelling because they cannot deliver the results. I am then called by a person claiming to be a high up manager (every time, higher than the next but somehow they are unable to handle refunds and can only offer lawn makeovers) capable of performing more in depth lawn make over services and they state they will make it right. And deliver the Trugreen guarantee. But every time they come out nothing gets fixed and I am still unhappy with the service. I am told it will get taken care of but the fact of the matter is that they continue to charge me for a service they are telling me they will fix. I have been charged for poor service and then charged again when they say they will get it right. I have continued to call and tell them I want to cancel for this reason and it seems that they will not take no for an answer. I tell them I am firm on not accepting continued membership with them and then again I am told they will fix the problem and I should not be charged. I look on my credit card statement and they are continuing to charge me. I have been complaining since the end of 2022. It has been a cycle of me trying to cancel and them talking me in circles to keep me on their billing list. I told them I would be contacting the BBB and this is the only time they attempt to take action. I will not accept only a refund for this year. I want to be refunded from the original date that I called to cancel two years ago and was FORCED!!!! By their unwillingness to accept that I did not want to be a paying customer of theirs anymore due to them being unable to deliver their promises. I now understand why they have a 1 star review on Google. 

      I expect to be refunded for the entire seasons of 2022, 2023 and 2024.

      $75.46 I am requesting a refund of $75.46 for services not rendered. On 2 different occasions the same technician came to service my lawn but could not complete the service because he did not have the equipment to service my lawn and wasnt sure why they sent him a 2 nd time. He noted the file and I still have not git my lawn serviced and was charged for it. They did treat my ************** but they are now dying and will probably have to replaced due to the chemical that they used. I was charged a total if $75.46 for killing my ************** & not getting my lawn serviced. I have emails requesting a refund but cant Trugreen to do that. All I want is my $75.46 refunded.

      On 5/29/2025 I canceled all of my services with TruGreen. I subsequently continued receiving *********** account has now been sent to collections under I.C Systems Reference No 368231344-1-109 in the amount of $63.17 I should not have received this service and I should not be billed for it.

      We have been paying monthly for trugreen services since May 2023. I canceled my service with TruGreen on 9/9/2024. They refused to give me confirmation in writing, but gave me a confirmation number. I just received a letter from a collection agency stating that we owe trugreen $696.69. We have not received a letter, email, or phone call to let us know there was a balance so we have no idea what the balance is for. I tried calling to find out what the charges are for and why we werent notified, but the agent hung up on me. The agent did confirm, before putting me on hold and eventually hanging up, that I called to cancel on 9/9/24, and was in agreement that I should have been notified and informed that there was a balance and what the balance was for when I canceled. She could not tell me what the charges were for and confirmed that we made monthly payments on autopay.

      On Tuesday October 8, 2024, an employee from trugreen was dispatched to my residence. Hurricane ****** was approaching the state of ******* scheduled to make landfall Wednesday October 9, 2024. Prior, ************ was already under flood conditions and tornado warnings since we sustained 3 consecutive days of non stop rain prior to Hurricane Miltons arrival. On Tuesday October 8, 2024, I arrived home around 10:00 am and notice 2 heavy vehicles in my back yard. 1 was buried and stuck while the other was used as a tow. After 30 minutes we were able to get the heavy machinery dislodged and pulled out. 2/3rds of my back lawn was a mud ********, these 2 heavy vehicles was a ride along type and propelled by a left and right levers to go forward and turn. These vehicles had a water base solution which is visible to the naked eye. Well these 2 vehicles drove along my pavers causing them to sink and break from it concrete hold in some areas.The purpose in putting in this paved sidewalk is to provide some assistance when I use my cane or ******. My conditions is a result of tours of combat while serving the *******. Now, I have uneven pavers and I fear of tripping.Last, for relief as promised by the trugreen gentlemen to provide SOD for the damage areas and repair my damaged paved sidewalk. I have not received any services nor will I until this matter is settled. I will summon local law enforcement and file a complaint and provide them with pictures and taken video.

      I have told this company to take me off the call list multiple times and they keep calling me on different numbers. I try calling back and all I do is leave voicemails and texts telling them this. My phone stays on **** not disturb" during my work hours so I have been missing their calls. Beyond frustrating and will never go with them to do lawncare or anything.

      On 9/10/24, I spoke with a TruGreen *** about services for my lawn. Grubs had damaged much of the front lawn and since they had provided previous lawn service, I called them. I agreed to limited service which included grub eradication, aeration, and overseeding. I stressed that special attention should be given to the grub-damaged areas. I provided my Discover card to take care of costs. I agreed to three services: grub treatment, aeration, and overseeding. My plan specifies $89.95 per treatment. To this point they have charged my card $599.00. When the aeration and overseeding were done (I was not at home), seed was strewn on the driveway and the aeration damaged the top of my front lawn. I hired a new landscaping service on Oct. 4, 2024 to take care of the dead grass and to place sod on the exposed areas. Grubs were alive and plentiful, much to my surprise. I have pictures of ***** crew picking live grubs. I called Trugreen to cancel my contract with them and ask if grub control had been put down. The ***. said no. Since the crew was waiting for instruction, I decided to apply GrubEx myself. I paid for four bags and treated the entire lawn, not just the part where live grubs were found. I have been trying to get a refund for the grub treatment which was not done, or done very poorly, and for the money I spent on the four bags of GrubEx., which comes to $143.58. Since TruGreen did not apply anything to control white grubs, or they did not apply it effectively, I would like to be reimbursed for $89.95. Lastly: I have been trying to contact a TruGreen ***. to help me get reimbursed. However, that has become a nightmare. The company will onlycall you when they are ready to do so; I cannot reach anyone who can expedite this matter. This morning, the phone rang, my wife picked it up, said Hello, but no one was on the other end. An email later said that ******* had tried calling, but I could not contact her.
