      Tesco properties collect rent and do not upkeep property. EX: grass was last cut over a month or two ago. Today my husband cut our section because the grass was so high you can't see in it, unsafe for kids play, and drawing alot of mosquitoes and other parasites. The ********** *********************** called me due to a voicemail I left requesting a callback. Once I informed him of the level of low maintenance and no upkeep, his reply was, "you know this is low-income housing". I am offended and very upset that such a comment was made because regardless of the rent paid by tenant, the remaining amount is received by subsidy by government so they in fact still receive the full rent. Additionally, I have lived here 14 years. At 1st I was low income and over the years have become more financially able so my rent increased to what us now 725 monthly and because I will not move into another unit I'm stuck paying more than market rent which is 550 or 575. The reason I don't want to switch units is due to the fact that alot of units are rat/***** infested, have severe water leaks and other things. They can switch tge paperwork with an empty apartment and retain the same number of allocated units but they refuse just to keep collecting my larger rent. Tesco properties should have their business license taken based on how they view/treat the tenants. Lastly, I called 2 weeks ago to check on grass issue and the landlord said phones were off due to non-payment. Grass cutters tell you they hadn't come to cut grass due to no payment. What are they doing with the rent money??!!!

      July 28, 2023 Refund Rent Deposit $300.00 Business commitment to sending me my deceased mother's rental deposit My mother passed away July 10, 2023. I have been trying to get my mother's rental deposit refunded. I have called the corporate office and left numerous voice messages and have yet to receive a phone call back. I was working with the property manager at the Riverview Apartments located in ***********, ** by the name of ****** she also called the corporate off several times advising that my refund had not been received and no one at the corporate office had yet to comply with her request. I don't do not have a tracking number because no one will answer my phone call.
