      As long as the start button was pressed the drum ran; with thumb removed, no rotation. I assumed I needed a new starter or something more expensive. I knew I would be expected to pay approximately
      ***** but that amount would be applied to total visit costs IF I agreed to follow through with tech’s recommendation. I needed A BELT!! Tech was here 1.5 hours, including time it took to go get a belt (no simple parts for repair on truck). I FOOLISHLY paid the ******* bill without getting a complete breakdown of how that amount was calculated. The operating franchise which answers service calls (near Johnson City) CAN PROVIDE NO INFORMATION on how an invoice is calculated, only the tech who performed the work can do that AT THE TIME HE/SHE’s on your property. So, **** for a new belt and 1.5 hours of labor/mileage for trucks kept in the Knoxville area!! Never again, Mr.Appliance of Johnson City/Knoxville franchise!

      We apologize for your experience. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that we couldn’t provide a breakdown. Our goal is to create a stellar experience for every customer. While we do carry the most common parts on our vans based on our 16 year history we just can’t carry every part as there’s just not enough room for the millions of parts on multiple brands that are now being manufactured. That being said we were at this customers home the very next day and completed the repairs that same day. Our technician did provide an up front quote and the customer authorized the repair prior to installing any parts. However she didn’t ask for the breakdown while the technician was in her home. Our system doesn’t breakdown on the invoice once it’s completed and synced to the office from the technicians IPad. The software we utilize from our parent company shows a grand total as it encompasses the parts and labor as one fee. We advised on the initial call that if the customer does the repairs as recommended we waive the service call fee and only charge the quote that the technician provides. We do also provide a one year warranty on that repair. While we didn’t have the required part on our truck stock our technician did make a trip immediately to the local parts vendor so that we could get her unit up and running that same day. The technician took a total of 2 hours and 11 minutes to complete this repair including the time it took to acquire the part. While we understand your frustration in this matter we did do everything possible to create a positive experience. The majority of our customers are very pleased that we are able to get their units up and running on a first time visit so that they don’t have to wait weeks for a return part install and have additional downtime.

      My service company uses them to complete repairs. The technician came to my home installed 1 of 2 items sent to repair my washer. Once he so called completed the work. I go down to find water still in my washer. I reached out to the tech to no avail called the company a lady called back and told me to reach back out to my service company. The tech reached back out and said he doesn't do diagnostics just put the parts on. What the hell? So you just made sure the parys we're on but didn't make sure the machine worked. This is the worst service I ever received.

      I do not recommend this company—*** ******* to fix a microwave.
      A new one is ***.
      I did not accept and they charged me *** ******* just to confirm my microwave is not working.
      Do not commit the mistake of calling this company.
      Dishonest and mercenary.

      Do not use. I paid them up front for dishwasher repair. They did half the job, never finished it despite my follow-up calls. After 3 months I asked for a refund for the work they didn't complete. Refund has never come and now they won't take my calls. I've been patient and professional through this whole ordeal but would not recommend them.

      Tech is very uneven. They pull parts at random, charge you, and the problem persists. You get angry. They care not! Hateful experiences.

      These people are con artists. They came to my home to fix my ice maker. They told me to let it cycle through and toss out the ice the next day. When I opened up my freezer for the first time I could not get the door to close. I called them immediately to come back to fix it. They told me that the broken freezer door that I hadn't touched since they left was broken due to normal wear and tear for my 3 year old freezer and then they quoted me **** to fix it. They also charged me a fee of **** to come out and tell me that they didn't break it. To make things worse, they were total jerks too.

      Our 2 1/2 year old refrigerator stopped making ice. The technician came and had trouble diagnosing and concluded we need to replace the ice maker for ******** I paid for that upfront which they requested. They replaced it and it still made no ice. They came make and were trying to diagnose the problem. Know she said we need to replace the main control panel even though everything else was working including the water dispenser. She still could not guarantee that the ice maker would work. I said since the ice maker seemed OK you should credit me for the ice maker and replace the main control panel. They said no you have to pay for both with no guarantee that will fix the problem. I refuse to give Mr Appliance any more money. They are Incompetent and just want to replace parts until maybe it will work.

      Worst service to set up my service call, called Saturday April 27, they gave me an appointment gap for Monday April 29th from 8am - 12 pm, took off work to have my not cooling fridge / freezer serviced, they call me Monday morning to ask if I still needed the service, I said if I did not call to cancel that means yes I still need the service, well they said that they just got the notification this morning that they would need to reschedule for tomorrow April 30th, I said that was unacceptable, then they said ok we will have a technician call you within today. I’m like really ? What happen to my 8 am to noon gap today? So then I thought if they can’t even set up an appointment, I just don’t wanna think how the repair service will be so decided to cancel my call with them, then I call to just report the issue so it doesn’t happen to another person and there was no managers / supervisors available ….. companies like this should not be doing business at all !!! Sad that there’s no responsibility on their part to service customers in need, specially when you take off from work to take care of a matter.

      Regis ***** was our repair guy and he did a fantastic job. We will have them out from now on on every single time.! Very impressed with much expertise .
