I am sorry we do not have a Rosemary **** in our system. We also checked our Tommie's Heating & Air page and we can not find it. We would need this address to know exactly what is going on.
This is a price complaint. We can justify all of our pricing. Sure you can get it cheaper somewhere else but we are a company with multiple employees that is licensed and insured.

Ok, now we are on the same page.
I just wished you were at home when we went there. Angela and her mother were there and we discussed everything in detail about what we were doing. They understood and that is why they wanted to go with a new unit. They even wrote us a check in full for the unit. Then you called Angela the next day and told her that they should not go with us because they do not have the money to do that. We made a deal with them that if we cleaned the indoor and outdoor units to help them get some air until we were able to install the new unit. If they changed their mind they would be charged for the cleaning, and they agreed.
There is no way anyone can clean the indoor and outdoor units for ***. We were there for 3 hours and gave a price upfront before we did anything.
Our unit price is competitive with the other companies in the area. We do a lot more than other companies. We do not charge any extra for warranties. We give a 12-year warranty on the unit and 12-year warranty on parts and labor and a 5-year warranty on thermostats. You can not get that anywhere else.

I have sent you an email from our dispatching system. If you have any questions, please let us know.Review fromJohn D

Tommies plumbing came to our house to replace a tankless water heater. They priced the water heater installation at **** dollars. I have buyers remorse and feel that I was overcharged for the service. The water heater sells for 2800 dollars at Lowe’s . I called the company and asked for an itemized bill. They said that they didn’t give those and that I had a chance to refuse the service. I couldn’t even get a hourly rate. They said they charge by the job. If ever you get a quote from Tommies you should get a second opinion. From a qualified plumber before you sign anything with this company. I have paid stupid money to them as I didn’t research the cost of the unit. I recommend that you never do anything with this company unless you do your research.Tommie's Plumbing

Your complaint is you can by the tankless unit at Lowe's for $2800 and we charged $7700 for the unit.
Well sir this is false. You can not get a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater at Lowe's. Even if you can get the same unit for $2800 who is going to install it? Are they going to install it up to code? Are they going to give you a warranty? Are they going to be there when if a problem occurs?
We installed a Rinnai Tankless unit with the following items for $5,797.91
2 3/4 ball valves3/4 brass nipple
2 3/4 female adapter3 males
3/4 tee
7 3/4 90s3/4 couplng
3/4 copper male adapter
3/4 copper street 90
3/4 copper to pex30 3/4 pex rings
Can of map gas
2 vent extensions
Sediment filter with by pass
Teflon tape
5 and 1/2 hours to do the work.
12 year warranty on the tank and parts and labor (Can not get that anywhere else guaranteed)
We spoke on the phone yesterday and everything was fine and you wanted to keep our membership but Now your still complaining about buyers remorse because someone told you that you could get it somewhere cheaper. We gave you options before we did the job. We did not make you take it. We educated you on what needed to be done and how we were going do it and YOU made the decision. We are not the cheapest company nor are we the most expensive company. We do quality work and stand behind our work.
You also stated that you recommend someone to get another quote form a qualified plumber. We are totally ok with that in fact we recommend that as well ,but make sure they are QUALIFIED and not a night rider or a chuck in a truck. We have been around for over 30 years because we have done quality work and respected our clients.

I called you last August (2022) about a water pressure problem. You replaced the main water line and it fixed the problem. You offered the membership to save me money and I took advantage of it. However, I am not going to keep this membership forever in order to save the original discount. This is a low-life scam that I wouldn’t have expected from a reputable company. You can remove this charge and never contact me again.Tommie's Plumbing

Mr. ******,
I hate that you feel this way. It is not a scam. We have a contract for the membership and it states if you deicide you want to cancel you can but you will lose all of your extended warranties and have to pay back the discounts that you received during the membership period. This is not a discount program. It is a maintenance plan where we extend your warranties, we come out the same day when you call us, we do a whole home visual inspection for peace of mind, we lower your service fee to come out, and lastly we give a discount. We hate that you feel this way about the program. Thank you for saying we did great work. We would like to talk about the membership if you will give us a call at your convince.

Their work is decent if the right person does it. Their “membership” offer is an expensive scam. We will never use them again.Tommie's Plumbing

Just a little confused by this. We spoke on the phone and you stated that you are not getting any use out of the membership program. You signed up in June 2022 when we did work at your home. You signed up for an auto renewing contract that if you were to cancel the membership at anytime you would have to give up your extended warranties, and pay back the discounts that you got on the work. The membership includes the following. Front of the line service (same day service when you call). A free annual whole home visual inspection-(typically cost $311.46) Service Guarantee it extends it from 1 year to 3 years. Faucet Guarantee if you have one of our faucets installed (which you do) it is guaranteed for LIFE. The service fee went down form $69 to $39 and you get a 15% discount on any job that you do.
You saved over $1,100 dollars and have not even been with the contract a year.
We put in the contract that you will have to pay back all discounts when you cancel to avoid this situation. How fair is it to us that you saved that money and not even stay with us a year. It is not fair at all.
After I explained this to you on the phone you stated that you understand and that you have just forgot and that you wanted to keep your membership and that you would take down the review that you put on google and this post but obviously not.

Tommie's plumbing is nothing but a rip off. They came to my house De. 29th 2022. My basement was being flooded by a bad water heater. I accepted their OUTRAGEOUS price of 4745.00 to install another 80 gallon water heater because of water in the basement. they wouldn't even drop the service fee of 69.00 and included it in the price. They damaged the trim on my basement door which I had to repair and refused to give me an itemized bill. They said it was just a package deal. These people are taking advantage of elderly people. They always have a comeback of "call the office so we can discuss this". which means nothing. BUYER BEWARE! **** *******Tommie's Plumbing

Mark,
When you called you told us to bring a heater with us because you needed a new one. We did not bring one with us because we did not want to pressure you into anything. We gave you the price of the heater and you chose to go with it. We then had another employee bring the heater to the home so that we could get your water back up and running. We did not tell you that you HAD to do it. You could have said no and we would have gone on our way. We do not force anything on anybody. We work out of a straightforward price guide which means we give you a price before you do anything there are no hidden fees. This is the first time we are hearing about damaged trim on the door. We would have taken care of that with no problem but our service tech did not tell us anything nor did you until now.Review fromGreg T

Bathroom widespread sink faucet hose had a leak. Tech came out and said the complete faucet had to be replace. $715 fix!!! I questioned several times why the hose can't just be replaced. Anyways I cancelled the job because I was being ripped off. I ordered the replace hose on Amazon for $35. So much for Tommie's Plumbing having honest techs. Watch out people maybe these techs are on to commission for sales.Tommie's Plumbing

Gregg,
We have tried to reach out to you but can not get ahold of you. I am glad that you have found a replacement hose from Amazon. We do not shop at Amazon. The issue with your faucet is that you have built-in supply lines. The built-in supply lines are not the easiest or best fix for your issues. So we gave you options to fix your issue. I am sorry that we did not give you the amazon option. If you give us a call when they come in we will come out and install it for you at no cost. Just know it might not seal back up, and we will be in the same boat.Greg T

This part is also available thru Moen. I am very surprised your plumber supply house is not able to obtain this part.
