  The owner of T.A.P. Construction is a fraudulent contractor and scam artist. He scammed my family out of over $93,000 dollars! We are now financially crippled because of him. He uses manipulation, lies, and presents false documentation to give you the indication he is a legitimate contractor who is licensed to do work over $25,000. My family's experience includes him not completing work, not completing work on time, completing work that was unsafe/not structurally sound, and he claimed that he purchased materials we never received. On one of our two properties, he claimed he pulled a permit for the work, but had not. When we followed up with the building inspector ourselves (Madison County, **), the inspector confirmed he had not pulled a permit and that the work was not deemed structurally sound and was found to be extremely unsafe. We are out of thousands and thousands of dollars on this project and will now have to demolish the home. On the other property he filed an insurance claim on our behalf and completely ruined the home. We had to pay out of pocket (at almost the same amount he received from the insurance company) to have a professional correct his work. When looking at the other reviews on this site they are eerily similar to my family's experience. It is evident that he is a serial con artist and needs to be held accountable for his actions. The owner of the business has not resolved this issue. Please feel free to contact me so that we might discuss this matter further.
