    Omar Awning installed our custom awning incorrectly. They will not make it right unless we pay them additionally

    It was discussed with Mr. ********* on more than one occasion with more than one of our employees that he wanted the awning installed only on the siding. He was also present at the time of installation and voiced no concerns upon completion. For the framework to be moved down lower onto the stone, it would require additional labor and materials. Since we installed the awning exactly how the customer requested, there would be an additional charge to cover our labor and materials for any changes to the awning moving forward.

    We installed the awning exactly as discussed in detail with your husband on numerous occasions. He did not express any concern at the time of installation. If he was unhappy with the installation, he should have discussed it with the crew at that time. Instead, he expressed his satisfaction.

    I am rejecting this response because: communication was very poor throughout the entire process. You are assuming your employees communicated properly but you were not present and that was not the case. We paid a premium price for this awning and waited way beyond the estimated time for installation. Omar Awning should “make this right” at no charge to us.
