      Recently, I left an unfavorable review about my experience with First Horizon Bank; I've reassess my opinion.
      My mother passed away a few months ago and it was my responsibility to handle all of her business.
      Since I was as not involved with her with her banking with First Horizon, I was not knowledgeable of what type of accounts or documents that I needed to close her accounts. However, after having more information and locating the proper documentation, First Horizon could not have been more helpful in clearing up the complicated matters.
      I appreciate how the bank manager took the time to walk me through the issues and the end results; I plan to do business with First Horizon in the future.

      My mother passed away on February 18, 2025. Unfortunately, one of her banks, First Horizon, is causing trouble with closing her accounts and giving her, her money back to her estate account, due to the fact that she went by two names, one on her death certificate is different on the letter of testamentary.
      The other issue, with her business, which was dissolved a few years ago, now needs someone that is an officer on the account to close it; my mother was the sole owner.
      I understand policy, but I see this as a technicality and to be nothing more than stalling the process.
      I now have to pay my Attorney to address these issues unless First Horizon takes care of this matter.
      I will never do business with First Horizon and I have forwarded the branch managers email to my family and friends that have accounts at their bank; I have also spoken with them, individually, about the way that this issue is being handled.
      First Horizon, your greed has added insult to my bereavement and has added extra cost and time to the closing of my mother's passing.
