I purchased this home February, 2023. The previous owner (seller) hired Crawlspace Ninja in 2019 to install a vapor barrier in the crawlspace. What I discovered around August/September, 2023 is that the crawlspace was dug out below the footers. Said footers are exposed along the interior perimeter of the crawlspace. I reached out to Crawlspace Ninja who provided the original quote and before pictures. These pictures clearly show the footers have been compromised. When I spoke with their office manager, she stated that their employees are not trained to identify concerns with foundations. One does not need to be trained extensively in foundations to know that an exposed footer is an extreme structural problem. Crawlspace Ninja operated in an unethical manner by selling and completing this job. Additionally, Crawlspace Ninja is negligent for not properly training their employees on safety hazards. A structural engineer stated the home has "no lateral support" and that "It will collapse". This company failed to educate their staff and put their health and wellbeing at risk by allowing the to complete this work which includes utilizing impact tools. When I contacted Crawlspace Ninja, they reported their paperwork states they aren't responsible for foundation repair. However, I cannot locate anything that states they are not trained to identify foundation defects or that they recommend a structural engineer/foundation repair specialist inspect the foundation prior to Crawlspace Ninja covering the foundation (and problems) with encapsulation material. Crawlspace Ninja admits to no wrong-doing and will not assist me in any way. Their unethical business practices, negligence, and inadequate training have caused significant financial harm to my family. Their materials were under warranty that transferred to me until 2/10/2024. I'd like to provide the original quote and pictures from before the work was completed as they show the gravity of the situation.

Please be aware that the customer that sent in the complaint did not do business with our company and bought the house several years after we provided the original owner with the work they wanted to perform and they were satistfied with the outcome.  **** **** reached out to us because after buying this home it was discovered the home had a foundation issue from which our company does not work on. Crawl space ninja does not offer foundation repair and is out of our scope of work. **** **** was made aware we are not a structure or foundation repair company. Her conclusion was we hire a contractor to repair her home at free of charge. If we refused to pay for the needed repairs she was going to leaves us bad reviews on several platforms as a way and harm our good reputation. Please note i have attached the original invoice showing who payed us to complete the work back in January 2019. The repairs needed to her home are out of our scope of work and have nothing to do with installing vapor barrier and insulation.
