  Yes I called up here trying to get some information on a house that they built the receptionist was not only very rude but she hung up on me. I don't appreciate that and I don't think Ben Testament would appreciate the fact that he hasn't employed that treats somebody that way. And if they would like to contact me they can contact me
  

  Testerman Restoration - Ben Testerman Construction

  This gentleman called concerning a house that had restoration work done in 2013.  I advised him that we only keep records for 7 years, and I did not have any information for him.  He stated the home was located in Seymour and had fire damage in 2013, the elderly woman who owned it had passed and he acquired the home.  He said a home inspector was questioning the foundation and that "I needed to send one of my people to look at it and write a letter stating it was fine".  I explained that first of all I did not "have people" he would need to call an engineer to look at it.  He made this comment at least 5 times, no matter what I said he would not take NO for an answer....I tried numerous times to explain, that we only build new construction, since Covid and that Knox County does all of our inspections.  I do not have an engineer on staff.  He still continued to argue that I needed to send someone to just look at it and write him a letter.  I told him to have a good day and hung up the phone.  I am not the receptionist, but the office manager.

  I find it amazing what they get buy with. My home was never completely restored after a fire only destroying one room but I also had water & smoke damage. They told me it would be a couple months. I was living out of motel with a kid in school. After 2 months never even started on my home. I was there twice a day for bus to run. At 3 months, I found some men painting without electricity on. The rooms was the wrong color which had to be corrected. The downstairs was not touched & still had water in it. I had electric turned back on paying the bill myself. I done month to month lease in Seymour. Finally at 6 months with only less than half job done I fired them. The place had numerous problems. My closets after hanging clothes back in them collapsed. They used cheap materials & couldn’t even find a stud. That’s just one example. They then sued me for remainder of insurance money that they weren’t entitled to receive. I don’t know how that turned out because I was never provided the first document pertaining to this matter. I did hire different individuals to do most of the remodeling & my insurance did pay for them. I still have one room incomplete. I would never hire someone again without reading their reviews first. I’m a very dissatisfied single parent.

  Quality you can trust??? Should your two week before closing walk thru be so extensive that it takes 3 months to complete? Should sunlight be shining thru your attic wall? Should you have ½ gap in your bathroom tile floor? Shouldn't your weight bearing wall actually sit completely on its footer? I will not buy another *** ********* home.

  We have drainage issues and our patio has cracked and dropping down. Our house is not a year old yet. We have contacted ***'s office for about five months and if they do email back. They say he will fix issue and then they go silent for weeks. Then the same email come in. They know the Glen at West Valley has tons of drainage issue. Will never by another home from this company.

  Just purchased our second home in Westland Creek, and wow.....It's amazing, everyone was wonderful to work with, Cara helped us to pick out all of our personal touches, Caleb made sure everything was done to our specifications, and Ben was super personable. Great experience, wonderful neighborhood. Happy Homeowner......
