      I completed a shop on October 31, 2022. It is February 24, 2023 and I have still NOT been paid. It should not take this long to be paid. I have been paid from other companies sometimes a few days up to 30 days for completed shops. I have been sending emails since January 30th inquiring about this payment. Trish said she would look into it and send it through PayPal to me. I have yet to receive anything. I literally need my money and I’m so upset I don’t even know what to do. This is my last resort to get my payment of $62 sent to my PayPal account.

      This payment did not download with the other October payments.  This has happened with a few of our other payments over the last year.  I did update this and just sent payment through paypal, so the shopper should have the payment now.

      I received a large check in the mail. I did not cash it. I wanted this on record for reference to use in any future suits against this fake scam company. I have blocked their numbers and do not wish any contact with them.

      This was not from our company, this is a scam.  We do not even pay our shoppers via check.  There is also a Scam page on our website at www.mystery-shoppers.com that explains what you can do with the check and when this happens.  Thanks, Trish Overton

      I completed a shop for Mystery-Shoppers Inc on 08/11/2022 with Trish ******* as my scheduler contact. She was extremely responsive as I was completing the shop. When she had questions, I would respond the same day, and she would follow up the same day or the next day. The last time I heard from her was 09/02 when there was a discrepancy with the shop saying it was still open which she followed up regarding via email assuring me that the shop was complete.

      Payment for these shops generally take a couple months to process, so I recently visited their website to see if payment had processed yet. The shop says that it was paid on 10/16. There is some contradictory information on their website regarding whether or not they pay via PayPal or mail out checks, but I do have a PayPal account listed with them. Reading her responses to other complaints on this website from the last year, I would assume that she makes payments via PayPal. Either way, it has been over two weeks since she marked this shop as complete and I have not received payment via mail or PayPal.

      I wrote her two emails asking her about this payment, once a week ago, and once yesterday. She did not respond. I wrote her again today letting her know I was going to report her to the BBB. I find the lack of communication suspicious and unprofessional. It should literally take 5 minutes to send the payment via PayPal. If there is some reason for delay, I would expect her to respond in a timely manner with explanation. Not responding is not okay and very different from how she worked with me when finishing the shop so this seems out of character. I would like her to send my payment of $95 via PayPal immediately.

      I work as an Independent Contractor for various secret shopper companies. I took an assignment for a furniture shop in Roswell, Georgia on 4/21/22 that was supposed to pay $45. The company was Mystery Shoppers, Inc., owned by Trisha O., her public business phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. I read the contract and it states, "Checks are written at the end of the following month that you do a shop and will go in the mail the next week. We do not pay via Pay Pal." I completed the shop and submitted it for approval on 4/21/22. On 5/12/22, Trisha O. approved the shop for payment. According to her contract payment terms, I should have received a check in the mail no later than June 15th. She lives in Tennessee and I live in Georgia, so the check would get here in 2 or 3 days, if she would actually send me a check. I have tried calling her at least three times in the past, but she does not answer or return calls. I have emailed her at least once, and she did not respond to that email at all. It has been three months now since I completed this assignment, and still I have not been paid.
