JB Tree Service came out on a Monday afternoon, gave us a quote for taking down two 60+ foot trees, they told us they would be out the next day. They showed up in force Tuesday morning at 8:15am. They had the trees down, stumps ground, and all the residue cleaned up and were gone before 10am. With the trees down, we found some other limbs that needed cutting. They came out Wednesday morning for the quote, and had the limbs gone and mess cleaned up in short order. They have done other work for us in the past and other work for family and we’ve always been pleased with the work that they do. We will certainly call them next time.

JB TS did a GREAT job removing a very large (45' tall) old Maple from my side yard with a complication of hanging over both my house and my neighbors. FAST in getting to the job and wasted no time getting the tree down and chipped up. Crew was friendly, answered my questions and did a great job cleaning up the area. Within hours, the stump grinder was on site and did a great job on the stump and the next morning all the larger trunk pcs. were hauled away. Highly recommend JB Tree Service for any tree work you need done. Very good pricing but the service was amazing.

In October 2020 this JB came to my home and removed 3 trees for $1700. In April I had a neighbors tree fall on my shed. I contacted this company back because I had such a good experience and pricing was good. They came to my home last week May 2022 the guy who gave me the estimate said he already gave an estimate to my neighbor and it would not be fair to charge both of us to cut down the same tree so we could split the cost and said the price was $800. I confirmed the price and that it would be $800 to remove the tree from both of our properties and we would pay $400 each and the guy agreed. I received the $800 invoice and when the tree was removed I sent JB a check for $400. Yesterday 5/9 I get a call from JB saying my payment was short $400 and I should have paid $800. I told them my neighbor was paying the other $400. Any we went back and forth about the price quoted. Needless to say I still owe them $400 but I will never do business with this company again because the communication is very poor. The guy obviously did not understand how to explain the cost. I have sent lots of business to this company over the past 2 years but no more. If they do not know how to communicate correctly on what they are charging I do not want to deal with them. They charged me in 2020 $1700 to remove a very large oak tree and to medium trees. In 2022 they charged me $1600 to remove a medium tree that was already down. The guy said prices went up but I call that price gouging.

******** you and your neighbors have two different estimates ,it would be like if your insurance company will cover he's damage its different jobs and address your insurance will cover your address and his insurance he's address .because you using your insurance that's what you told us and your neighbor never call to approved he's estimate we just inform you that we gave him one for the same price because he was waiting on he's insurance.

    Have a great day

That was not the conversation we had. We never discussed insurance because I had to pay for the tree removal out of my pocket. I am not concerned about the conversation he had with my neighbor. That does not concern me. The major problem is the man who came out to give me a quote did not communicate the cost properly. He kept saying but that's what I wrote in my book. What ever he wrote in his book is not what we discussed or agreed on verbally. If you are going to do business you need to be very clear about what you communicate to your customers. I believe he over charged to remove the tree because he knew it was an insurance claim job. Still not a good way to do business.
