      The takeout program at Cracker Barrel in Twinsburg Ohio is AWFUL. The manager does not allow takeout for fried catfish, though it is on the regular menu. There is no reasonable way to get the item. You cant order on line or in advance. I had to drive to the store, get seated, wait excessively, and was told I had to pack my own food for carryout.. Plus there were arguments between takeout employees and waitresses and noone understood the process. After 30 or 40 minutes someone finally packed the meal and punished me by packing items with excessive juice like turnip greens into the fish container and not giving full side meals. I am on the app and a long term customer but this has happened consistently. It is clearly a management and departmental issue but unfortunately, it reflects on all Cracker BarreIs and I would not recommend this disorganized
      restaurant to any customers.

      Cracker Barrel double charged me on 06/06/2025 as I was paying for my pickup order for $25.51. They claimed the payment didn’t go through the first time on my debit card and had me to pay again. I immediately checked my mobile app and saw that it went through both times and the assistant manager came out and said one payment would drop off. I called my bank and they said no it would not drop off and both payments had posted. I sent an email to their corporate office, they said they would refund my payment in 3-5 days and I never received it. This makes me wonder how many others have they did this to, because everyone doesn’t check or use a mobile app. I will be contacting the Federal Trade Commission for their business practices to be reviewed. Today is June 21, 2025 and I am currently waiting for my bank to investigate to get my money.

      Subject: Serious Incident at Wichita Location (Ridge Road) – Formal Complaint
      Dear Cracker Barrel Corporate Office,
      I'm writing to formally report a disturbing incident at one of your Wichita locations, where I experienced an aggressive and erratic outburst from an employee simply because I exercised my right to say "no." Their behavior was intimidating, hostile, and entirely unacceptable.
      If this has not already come to your attention via a police report, I want to be sure that Corporate is fully aware of the severity of this incident. I request that none of my personal information be shared with the location involved.
      To be candid, the experience was so unsettling that it felt like something out of a surreal, unscripted show. The atmosphere was so chaotic and theatrical, I half expected credits to roll. If you're curious what happens when you staff a restaurant with individuals seemingly rejected from a psych ward, this was that show—Cracker Barrel: Live From the Padded Room. I came to pick up an order, not witness an unprovoked psychological meltdown.
      Multiple employees were staring at me in a way that felt demeaning and targeted. It was a deeply uncomfortable experience that I won’t forget. As a result, I will never return to any Cracker Barrel in the Wichita area.
      That said, I want to commend the store manager. Despite the madness around her, she handled the situation with remarkable professionalism and calm. Her leadership deserves acknowledgment.
      I also want to highlight the consistent excellence of your Boise locations. My family and I have always been treated with respect and top-tier service there—an experience that now stands in stark contrast to what I endured in Wichita.
      Please consider this a formal request for internal review. No law-abiding customer should be subjected to the kind of treatment I received.
      Do not contact me by phone. I am simply ensuring this issue is on Corporate’s radar in the event it was otherwise overlooked.

      Food is always consistent a a Cracker Barrel. However, the Urbana, IL location has an exceptional staff. Everyone was kind and seemed ready to move the world to make us happy. Management and Crew, thank you for making this a wonderful experience.

      Absolutely the worst customer service, after speaking to Ashley the store manager in Alcoa TN, I made a grave, grave mistake. I've had spinal surgery and currently can't drive. I placed an order through **** ****. **** **** is NOT the problem, they delivered the food. The problem is with the restaurant. The person did not assemble the order correctly and checked off on the receipt as if the order was complete. That is not true. The CB chat persons are worthless they only wanted to give me a comp dinner. The store manager states she is helpless and can't help with a 3rd party even though the problem was with the store. Bertha replied to an email stating she can't issue a refund. I have NEVER asked for a refund nor a comp card. Just a sad experience, I had always enjoyed CB but after this ordeal I will select another restaurant

      I went to visit the location that I frequent in Wilkes-Barre next to the *******. The manager or cashier named Cherokee was extremely rude. She allowed someone of a different race to skip me and completely ignored me when I said something. and instead of being apologetic about ignoring me and allowing another customer to get me, she told me oh well what do you want me to do and when I tried to get help from another cashier, she told them not to help me to help someone else and continue to try to make me wait. The only reason I could think that this would’ve been done is if it was for discriminatory purposes

      POOR SERVICE FOR ONLINE ORDERS. I received email notification from Cracker Barrel that my online order was shipped to my correct home address in NY. When I checked the *** delivery confirmation for order, it stated that my order was shipped to an address in South Carolina! A SC address is not on my radar whatsoever as i have NO relatives in this state. How did this happen??? When I tried to contact them, it can be done only through a Chat with a computer who kept asking me over and over again whether it was an online order or a specific store. I repeatedly answered it was in reference to an ONLINE ORDER, and the chatbot kept asking me again and again if my issue was in reference to an online order or specific store. Extremely frustrating. Finally connected me to a LIVE agent who was no help whatsoever. A complete waste of my time. I paid for an order that was delivered to THE WRONG STATE. I am extremely displeased with Cracker Barrel's online ordering and customer service.

      Waited over an hour to eat my food from my mobile order because they forgot my rolls and biscuits, then when returning home from that trip I noticed that they had left out more things that I ordered. Wouldn’t give me a refund, only wanted to replace the product that was lost.

      I just left the Cracker Barrel in league city Texas and I am very disappointed. ALL the food was burnt. Pancakes, sausage, bacon, and ham. On top of that, the ham wasn’t the sugar cured ham that I asked for. I ordered my daughter the biscuit on the kids meal and it only came out with the sausage and eggs. Not even with a biscuit. The manager was very unprofessional as well. She didn’t even let me tell her the problem. She ASSUMED I was about to say the meat was undercooked… It was the complete opposite. Overcooked.
