    Order glasses through Blout County Eye Center.

    Did not delever within stated time frame. Had to follow up multiple times to get glasses and they were still not ready. Eventually had the glasses shipped.

    But asked for a refund when the glasses were not delivered and was provided with misleading responses about that the insuarance would be lost if I didn't take the glasses.When I spoke with insurance later on, ths was found to be inaccurate.

    Since taking the glasses, I've found they are too strong and I am not able to use them. Since it's been a nightmare to work with them, I simply want our money back for the glasses. The exam and service was fine and am not asking for that back.

    On July 29th, I took my son to the Blount County Eye Center for an appointment. once we were done with the exam they took us out to pick out glasses. my son picked out a pair of glasses and gave them to the attendant. The Blount County Eye Center worker then took the glasses and said they would be ready in 2 weeks. I asked why they would not measure my son's face for the correct fit and they told me they didn't have to measure since they had his last measurements on file. I reminded them the last time he was in for glasses was two years ago and he has grown since then but they still refused to measure his face. They also would not let me pay extra for transitional glasses. They refused to help me any further. I made a big deal out of this and they told me to get out and since I was being difficult they would not send my son's glasses off and I would have to go somewhere else to get glasses. I can not do this since they already ran his doctor visit through his insurance and his insurance will only pay for glasses once a year so they owe me a pair.
