We hired Coopertown to get rid of a pest problem by sealing our attic from the inside. Instead they put up metal grates all around the outside of our home, drilling holes into the brick and damaging our home, putting gunky silicone throughout the trim on a storage shed off our home without even smoothing it out, and put metal flashing cut crookedly on our home instead of using wood to repair the damage. They agreed to refund our deposit $1380 then the next day refused to honor it. Furthermore, they forged my signature on their contract. I have pictures of the damage if you need them.

Please see the attached documents and let me know if you have any questions. Ultimately, The ********** still owe us $3,220.00 for the repair work they received. The ********** tried to dispute the deposit, but their credit card company sided with us and awarded us the deposit payment. However, they have not paid us their remaining balance to date, despite us having completed all work agreed upon in contractual agreement.  We have tried at great lengths (as you will see in the attached documentation) to work this out with the **********, but they have told us that they are not interested in working with us to address any concerns they may have. It is evident in our work orders and in the letter that we sent them that we would and could not use wood for this type of repair work. We also stated that they may need a ********* as we are not carpenters. She is now saying that we forged her signature. If you look at her signature on our work order and her signature on her credit card dispute you will see that the signatures match. I believe the attached 22 pages of documentation will show you that we have tried to work through this with the **********, but they have proven to be unwilling.

I am rejecting this response because:

"The ********** (sic) tried to dispute the deposit, but their credit card company sided with us and awarded us the deposit payment."

THIS IS FALSE. Coopertown did not accept our credit card company's request to refund the deposit for work not complete. Ultimately our credit card company said that they could not force Coopertown to refund us despite the fact that they did not provide the work we hired them to do and also forged my signature on their documents. Citibank advised me to file a complaint with you (BBB) as well as the attorney general.

"We have tried at great lengths (as you will see in the attached documentation) to work this out with the ********** (sic), but they have told us that they are not interested in working with us to address any concerns they may have."

FALSE: Coopertown offered to refund our money due to the lack of completing the job we hired them to do, then refused to refund our money 2 days later.

"She is now saying that we forged her signature. If you look at her signature on our work order and her signature on her credit card dispute you will see that the signatures match."

They absolutely forged my signature. I NEVER MET WITH COOPERTOWN! Only my husband met with them. I never even saw the paperwork, let alone signed anything with them. It is clear they forged my signature after the fact. It is absolutely NOT the same signature, and appears to have been signed by someone left handed (which I am NOT). They clearly tried to copy my signature AFTER they received the credit card dispute, but if you compare them side by side it is clear they FORGED my signature. Just look at the first letter...not even close!!!! Please see attachment for the comparison. Coopertown- you should be ASHAMED of yourselves for forging my signature, not to mention the mess you left at my house, the damage to my property, and the way you spoke to me on the phone.

COOPERTOWN OWES US OUR DEPOSIT BACK, and in all honesty should pay to have the damages to our home repaired.

    Sincerely,

Good Afternoon! I tried to respond to the rebuttal for the **********. but I could not get it to process, so *************** here. Please let me know if you need anything further from me. Thank you and have a great rest of your week!

--Please see the attached paperwork where the credit card company credited us back. The credit card company originally did deduct the deposit from our account, but after hearing the whole story they ultimately refunded the deposit amount. We were not paid for all of the work we performed. There is no proof that any of the documents were forged from anyone within our company.

--Please see the attached letter dated September 22, 2022 where our company offered solutions to reach an "amicable solution" and requested that "work together". We also stated in this letter, "With your permission we will return and try and improve the cosmetics of the seals" and "we want to work with you and try and make you happier with the job.".

--No one from our company forged ************************ signature. It would be impossible for anyone to try to "copy" ************************ signature on our forms "after we received the the credit card dispute". Our form was electronically date/time stamped signed on September 13, 2022 at 12:22pm (please see attached form). ******************** signed her credit card dispute on October, 26, 2022.

--All that was paid to us was a deposit in the amount of $1380.00. We performed a full animal exclusion repair in the amount of $4,600.00 for the ********** and were never paid in full for our work.
