  This company does not honor the terms of their contract and scam customers into paying additional fees.1. Their contract states that tree limbs not exceeding two inches in diameter and four feet in length in an area not exceeding three feet in width and two feet in height will be picked up with normal trash pick up. After meeting the requirements for limb pick up they refused to pick up tree limbs placed curb side. I took pictures of the tree limbs including a tape measure to verify that all the limbs placed for pickup met their requirements. However, even when provided with evidence that the limbs met their requirements for pick up, They refused to honor this portion of their contract and insisted on a payment of $40 for a special pick up as they do not want to possibly damage their disposal trucks.2. After paying $20 on Friday, June 14, 2024 to have a commode picked up from curb side on Monday June 17, 2024 the commode was not picked up. When contacted on Tuesday June 18, 2024 as to why the item had not been picked up they stated that they were unable to pick it up on Monday and would pick it up on Thursday. It is now Friday June 21, 2024 and when contacted as to why they had once again failed to honor the prepaid contract for the commode's removal they stated that the ticket had been cleared on Monday June 17 and they would reschedule for Monday June 24, 2024.

  Recently contacted Home Town concerning a refund for no service during the recent snow event in *******. Office staff was rude asked for a manager put on hold and never was answered. Office staff said no refund because of the bad weather although they did not provide the service that was paid for.This company has poor customer and customer relations.

  Home Town refuses to rebate/credit customers for service during the winter storm when no service was provided for a week. There is nothing on the ******************* Guidelines on the website concerning the lack of service during inclement weather. For customer with full pickup of trash and recyclables at 15 for a 3 month peroid customers should be credited 8.75 dollars for service not provided. **************** seems not to be a priorty with this company based on my last phone conversation with the office.

  We could not operate that week due to the snowstorm and ice. Our online Service Guidelines state that "unsafe road conditions due to extreme weather could cause a delay in your scheduled pick up day. No other companies ran that week, and all landfills were closed There were no disposal sites to take the trash to. We still paid our employees for that week, our bank loans, our insurance, etc. Our costs did not stop. We also picked all extra trash from each customer the following week. No other cities, or private companies, in this area were able to operate that week. This was a winter event that we had no control over. If the ***************, Shelby County Gov, and State of ********* will credit back your taxes for this week (since roads were impassable, schools were closed, and government offices were closed), then we will refund you too. It would have been totally irresponsible for our company to subject our employees to sub-freezing temperature, and dangerous roads. I am surprised that this customer thinks that we were unfair to him. Thank you
