Transaction Date: 5/22/23 Amount: $344.24 1st Call - Talked with ***** on 6/1/23 at ************** and requested a refund to my credit card as I had not received the service. He put in the request and said it should be received in ***** hours.2nd Call - 6/14/23 Talked with ******************* at ************** and asked her to see why I had not received the refund. She didn't understand why it had not been done and offered to send the request again to someone higher up. **** stated I should receive the refund in ***** hours.3rd Call - 6/22/23 Talked with **** at the same 1 800 number and was told they received the request and she didn't understand why it had not been done. She put in another request.4th Call - 7/11/23 Talked with ****** at the same 1 800 number. He found the requests and also didn't know why the refund had not been done. He stated that ******* had approved the refund on 6/29/23. He sent in another request.5th Call - 8/1/23 Talked with ****** who transferred me to ******* in Retention. ******* found the previous requests and said she would make another request to management higher up.As of today, 8/8/23, I still have not received the refund to my credit card. Terminix came out to inspect mice in basement and to come up with a treatment plan. They reviewed their financing plan. One can pay within the initial 3 month period at 0% interest or pay terms. I signed on 5/19/23. After reviewing their financing plan, I called Terminix on 5/20/23 and told them that I want to cancel my contract. Well within the 3 day cancelation policy. ************************************* said HE needs to fill out "their" paperwork to the bank and will send me a cancelation confirmation. I had him send me an email while on the phone with him confirming the cancelation paperwork being sent to SMAC. I called for several days and emailed with no response from him. I receive a letter dated 5/20/23 (the day I cancelled) on 6/16/23 regarding "my" SMAC loan number. I spoke with *********************** and she stated they never received any paperwork for cancellation. Which tells me why *********** wasnt responding to my emails. She told me she was sending the request through for cancellation and emailed me with her actions of filing cancellation while I was on the phone with her. She said I would hear from someone within 48 hours. After several days, no response, reply, etc. Today, I received my loan information. Terminix has violated my right for cancellation. Side Note: They placed aluminum around the foundation/sill. Today will be the FOURTH time that they have to come out to fix all of their shoddy workmanship. After their first installation, I went directly to ********** office and showed the Branch Manager, *************, the photos and he was appalled and set up speedy return date, then a 3rd, now a 4th . .I moved everything away from my foundation and the items have been placed around the yard leaving my home with damaged landscaping and equipment. It is summer and the area is unusable/unsafe for use.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I send the copy of the email from ************************************* @ Terminix STATING THAT HE NEEDS TO FILL OUT PAPERWORK TO SMAC TO CANCEL. ************* told SMAC that the job was completed and wouldn't cancel. I had 3 days. I went to his office with computer in hand and he was appalled at the shoddy job done, apologized and sent the SAME person out to fix. I told **** Hand that they only used 47' of aluminum and he said he would credit me the overage cost. ************* even asked me to email the photos and thanked me when he received them. By Monday, HE KNEW the job was horrible. Legally the financial contract should have beens cancelled per my request. Terminix is owned by SMAC so they can do whatever they want when it comes to messing with one's financial obligation and 3 day cancellation. Also, the sales rep ordered 100' of aluminum to wrap the foundation. After two months of them coming out to repair the job, they ended up using a total of 72'. ************* sent me an email stating that they were going to credit me and charge $2,133. He credited the "renewal" fee but not the "overage" credit.

I signed a 2 year contract with Terminix for Rodent control. I am not happy with the service or the outcome. I have contacted them over 8 times; phone, text and email. Terminix refuses to make it right or let me out of the contract. I agree I have to pay for what has been done to date but want out of the contract. I do not want future services from them. This is my second time complaining about Terminix sending me bills when they have told me they've cancelled my contract and acknowledged I no longer own any more money. I have emails and the contract to prove it as well as payment history and a schedule to pull the traps. I want them to cease contacting me and sending me bills. I do not owe them anything and I do not owe cancellation fees. I would like my customer account to be deleted. I was being sent bills at my old address (**********************.) and now my new address (***********.) this is harassment. This customer representative claimed I would owe a cancellation fee despite the already paying in full. The cancellation fee is equal to the unpaid balance of the service that I already paid. I have proof saying they cancelled and will cease further contact but they're still doing it. I want them to remove my information completely. We have spoken with this customer and explained that we have been servicing the account for the 3 years and have never been told that the house had a fire. There was construction at the house but that happens all the time and it doesnt affect the service we provide. We started the exclusion service on 10/4/19 then followed up 11/20/19, 2/7/20. We then did a reinspection of the exterior on 1/13/21 then again 12/14/21. We also serviced the house on 8/29/22 for an extra service which was called in by the homeowner. The customer called in and explained that they didnt live at the house. We agreed to refund $216 which was the latest payment made on 10/4/22. The other charges stood.

I talked to SMAC (ServiceMaster Acceptance Company) and they told me that they received Terminix's smart form to stop automatic payments from my checking account, and they had requested Terminix to send them a document to close my account. ***********************************, Terminix Manager, stated that he had sent a document to close my account. SMAC stated that they have not received the document from anyone at Terminix to close my account. This issue has messed-up my credit score really bad. I appreciate Terminix for terminating my Exclusion Plan contract, refunding me for the payments that I paid to SMAC and for stopping the automatic payments from my checking account. But Terminix has not solved the problem with SMAC. I talked to a SMAC rep. on Monday (3-27-22) and she told me that my account will be sent to a collection agency at the end of this month if they have not received a document from Terminix to close my account. I am rejecting this response because: I disagree with the response from ***************** He told me that he sent a document to SMAC to close my account and he assured me that my account would be closed. But SMAC stated that they did not receive the document. SMAC also stated that they sent emails to Terminix requesting for a document to close my account, but they did not receive any response from Terminix. After I filed my first complaint with BBB then Terminix finally cancelled my contract, refunded my payments that I made to SMAC, and stopped automatic payments from checking account for a job that Terminix techs were not qualified to do. So, I would like to know why I should be responsible for paying the remaining balance for a job that was never done. Terminix received the total amount of $1,580.00 from SMAC for the job that was never done. I feel that Terminix should be responsible for refunding SMAC the remaining balance. Also, **************** told me that my credit status would not be messed up but because of this issue my credit status has been changed from excellent to fair. My service is not being provided, the local manager ***** is rude, prude, and has noted my account to not service. (which is fine because they did not provide service anyhow) I have had rodents, spiders, ants, bugs of all kinds. VIDEOSTO PROVE IT! furthermore, I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR A SERVICE CONTRACT! EVER! if my account shows this I was not told this nor would I EVER sign up! I asked to discontinue service after a few months and he said it would go towards my credit and he refused. So, I continued to pay on auto pay and give it a go to see if it would get better. Months went by with being dissatisfiedover and over with the same poor service as I continued to keep paying and calling with the same issue! The techs that came out literally did nothing, literally walked around with a duster, dusting spider webs!!!? (which I could do ) for $100. a month? Very little spray, never set traps for rodents, never checked for terminate inserts in ground, never sprayed where it was needed at my location. In and out about 5 mins. Unacceptable, nothing ever happened and the problem still existed. The manager ********************* or *********************** (I think ****) should be demoted or sent to a customer relation course to learn how to de-escalate situations instead of escalate. He needs to learn how to properly provide customer satisfaction if he is a manager. He is a very poor representation of a higher up manager in authority if you have a problem and are dissatisfied as a homeowner. TERRIBLE SERVICE. I WANT REFUNDS AS NO SERVICE WAS PROVIDED. This is my second complaint against Terminix. I have been attempting to have services completed since June 2022. After my initial complaint, I was contacted by Terminix, but the job is still not complete. I worked with a manager, ***, with the first complaint. I have attempted to work with the current branch manager, *************************. I need an exclusion project completed to keep squirrels out of my attic. Initially, *** informed me they could not go on the roof, which was false information. I have attempted to have the job completed with *****, the current branch manager. The last scheduled appointment to complete the job was 2/11/23. Terminix came to my home, but said they could not go on the roof due to frost. I have been waiting to be rescheduled. I have left 3 phone messages with *************************, on Feb. 16th, 17th, and 20th with no return call or communication to complete the job that is still under warranty. Their lack of professionalism and communication remains an issue. Lack of completion of the work, could lead to damage to my house. I extended the warranty when contacted after the first complaint in good faith that the communication would be better. I made an *********** for someone to come out and check if there are any holes in the walls for mice because we have a mice problem we did catch a rat now we have a mouse that's running around in my granddaughter's bedroom which she will not sleep in she is petrified we have not been able to catch it so I did make an *********** for the hours of between 8:00 and 12:00 noon on today and I have the text to prove it that they sent to me saying that they would be out here between the hours of 8:00 and 12:00 and it's also a text on my daughter's phone saying the same thing when I call because no one showed up I was informed that the *********** is for 1:00 to 5:00 I said no and I have proof of that I said okay fine send someone out here between the hours of one and five no one showed up I called and told them that they said the technician claims that he called and said that he's sick and if he will not be able to come out here until Tuesday I said that's a lie I did not receive any phone calls at all I canceled my doctor's *********** so I could be here all day and to no avail have I gotten any results now I'm told someone might contact me on Tuesday a supervisor Maybe I don't believe it I have been a loyal customer for 20 years and this is what happens this is very unprofessional no courtesy at all I am highly upset now I got to go the whole weekend and just hope for a phone call on Tuesday I don't want a phone call I want action I want somebody to come out here and look and see if there's holes and put down some traps and I should be offered a gift card for the inconvenienceBusiness Response
