  Three times I told ****************** I wanted the chimney removed completely. Yet, he put it in the proposal: {Install *********** membrane, special metal ******************* around the chimney *********** with silicone to divert water.] He removed the chimney after I told him again but did not remove the cost. The workers broke the fascia on the back corner of my house. I also pointed this out to ****************** twice. He said he'd get his workers to fix it. They didn't. I paid $50 to repair it. His workers had holey *********** still finding shingle pieces everywhere: in my plants, on windowsills, the yard AC units. Also, found nails in the driveway. I made two different trips to get nails removed from my tires since they left. Each time I found a flat tire, I had to call to get my tire aired up. We have spent more tedious walks up & down the driveway & still find nails (I have a gravel driveway so not obvious they're there.) I do have pic of at least 18 nails we've found. He didn't get enough decking & I had to pay another $1,000. It was nice that the worker cleaned the patio off but neglected to put things back on the patio. I live alone & am disabled. Nuff said. I wish I had listened to my friend who suggested someone she was familiar with. Live & learn. I'm just disappointed.

  ***************** is an exceptional contractor. He is patient with our repeated explanations of our request. He is responsive and honest. He brought in different experts to assess what needed to be done. He tried his hardest to accommodate to our schedule. It cannot be easy given the shortage of skilled workers. He sent one crew to complete the first phase of work on the first day and then the second crew on the later part of the first day and the second day to finish the second part of the work. He is so organized and thoughtful. We are happy with the outcome. He is a contractor and knows where to find the right expert. We would never have been able to complete the project this quickly without his help. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a contractor for home improvement based on our experience.

  I have used ***** and Blackhawk Roofing LLC on several of my properties for roofing and painting over the past several years. I have always found them to be professional, prompt,knowledgeable, efficient and cost effective. I plan to continue to use them in the future.

  Blackhawk did a great job installing a new roof on my commercial building. They worked very efficiently and neatly, they didn't interfere with my tenant's business. Overall I am very pleased with the price and quality of work. I also loved the aerial photos showing the progress and completed job. Definitely will use them again on my other properties.

  Blackhawk roofing is not a good business, ****************** wrote up one thing on a contract to do ******* work but didn't do what he wrote up and ******* steal leaks, he's been dodging me to complete the job, I would not use this company!

  I am sorry ************** feels the way he does about the work performed by Blackhawk Roofing LLC. We try very hard to accommodate the wishes and needs of all our customers and provide a high level of professional services.In February, 2022, we responded to a request from ************** for us to take a look at his roof concerning water leaks coming into his kitchen and a bedroom closet. In performing our inspection, we found the entire roof to have outlived its useful life. There are 3 layers of shingles on the roof. The shingles have no granules for UV or fire protection. The shingles are brittle and crack to the touch.There are ***** nails all over the roof indicating leaks into his attic. There are also indications of rotten roof wood decking under the shingles.************** elected to not have a new roof installed, but only have repairs made above the closet and kitchen. We removed the 3 layers of shingles above each leak and installed 5 new roof wood decking boards and an *********** membrane as and underlayment for extra protection and approximately 260 new shingles. Since doing the work, there have been no leaks into the home where the 2 leaks were located.************** called us in August and said there was leaking into the kitchen. We did see evidence of leaking in a different location than from that of the initial repair we made.In order to accommodate **************, we offered to fix the new leak in the new location on the roof for only the cost of the materials but no charge for the labor. To date we have had no response from ************** except for the posting of this review
