    Ordered a camshaft December 15th 2022. Was supposed to ship in about a month. A few months later the cam had still not shipped. I emailed customer service asking for an update and was told they had no idea when it would ship. Ok fair enough at least they are being honest . Well after 6 months of waiting I decide to start looking around trying to find a new old stock one on **** and as it turns out every comp cams distributor I found has the cam in stock. At a new price thats 50% higher than what I had been charged . So comp cams raised prices sent orders to all thier distributors and just never sent my order . Unfortunately because I had already bought springs, retainers ,lifters ,ect 6 months ago that match that camshaft I still needed the cam in order to not be out hundreds of dollars in other parts. So I had to pay almost 50% more to buy the camshaft from a comp cams distributor. This was just scummy of comp cams to take my money not give me what I pay for but to send it to everyone else at a higher price .

    So when comp cams sent me my refund they tried to claim it was due to a "website error" . Then lied multiple times about not ever having had the part . Until I sent them a screenshot of my shipping confirmation from thier distributor.   I didn't ask for any kind of resolution for this because I know they will never pay the 100 dollars they cost me 

    But I would like a response from their management.

    All orders are filled first in first out.  Many of our distributors have had these camshafts on order for a very long time - well over one year to almost 2 years in some cases.  There was a major supply issue on the style of cam you were trying to buy.  The cam blank that is used to make these camshafts is made from austempered iron and there is only one manufacturer who makes this in *******.  The reason the price changed so much in a short time is because they came to ** and instantly gave ** a 70% price increase on these blanks, and all the new orders they were shipping **, would be at the new price.  We therefore had to raise our price immediately as well.  This is why you saw a very dramatic increase in cost in a very short time.  I 100% assure you we did not deceive anyone, or ship a newer order before an older order.  We are still experiencing delays with these cams and still have not filled all orders, but many who have VERY old orders are starting to receive these cams.  ************************* - VP of Sales and Marketing

    I ordered a cam kit for my ram **** over two months ago at the beginning of march. While making the purchase I was never made aware until after purchasing and them taking my money that the parts were estimated to ship in mid to late April. Now it May and I cant seem to get an answer or any update on my parts. This kit is for my truck which is my daily driver and has been sitting broken waiting for these parts for two months now. I am beyond frustrated and getting really tired of waiting.

    I bought fuel injectors for my **** ***** Silverado that I rebuilt my motor on. After tuning the motor blew because they were dumping too much fuel in the gas and oil. I had to start over again and had problem. The injectors are still dumping too much fuel. I have taken the truck to a professional ****** tuner and he is still unable to get this started with these injectors. We have changed the oil and spark plugs 5 times and the truck has not left the yard. We have called and not been able to get anyone on the phone. I was on hold for 2 1/2 hours last week. We have sent emails to them with no response. This has been going on for over 2 months and I just to return and get a refund. These cost $500.00 and have a lifetime warranty. But I cannot reach anyone. Up until this point I have bought several fuels systems from Fast in the past with no issues. Never had a problem getting someone on the phone. Please help. Thank you

    On Feb 5 2022 I ordered a Cam kit From Comp Cams. At the end of April I called them to find out the status of my order. I was told they had the Cam but not the lifers. I asked them to send me the cam now and i would wait for the lifters as i was told they would be in by the end of May. I contacted them In June and again in July. In July I was told they do not have them and could not tell me when they would be in, So I found the same kit at a performance shop and now have it. I have sent 2 E mails and called several times and have no response put on hold for 40 minutes each time with no one answering their phones. No response to my mail . I have requested a return shipping label and a refund, As they can not fill my order.

    We are sorry for the wait on the parts, but this is an item that we do not manufacture and are at the mercy of the supplier.  The date has been changed 3 or 4 times on ETA's.  I will have our customer service manager send you a call tag for the 12-224-4 camshaft and process a refund for the camshaft and also cancel the backorder on the lifters.
