      Beware, actual price was 50% higher than quoted for less items moved. Our move was 5 days ago, I reached out at that time via email (it was after 10 pm when they finally left) and have had no response whatsoever. I had to go back to the house the next morning to move a 20 foot trailer full of things that they left behind. Terrible experience, paid 50% more for about 75% of what the contract said they would do.

      I used this company to move from my 2nd story, 2 bedroom Apartment into a 3 bedroom house. And they did a great job. From start to finish, the experience was a positive. Moving is hard, and these guys had a great attitude the entire day. The quote was pretty spot on too. The reason it took just a little bit longer than anticipated is because I wasn't packed up like I was hoping to be before hand, and everything had to go up a steep set of stairs at the front of the new place. (even the piano) I really appreciate everyone who helped get this job done. Everyone I interacted with was kind and respectful. In hindsight, after seeing how quick and efficient they were, I wish I would have just hired them to do the packing too. I hope I don't have to move again anytime soon, but if I do I will make sure to use 6th Man Movers. 5 stars for sure!

      After looking over all of our furniture and the condition of our new home post-movers, I recommend exploring other moving options.
      They did not bring a big enough truck to accommodate all items needing to be moved. This was even after a virtual walkthrough of the previous house and discussing all the things that were a part of the move. If this is their largest truck, they cannot move a 3-bedroom home. This forced hours of extra time for me to move the items they could not accommodate.
      On the day and days after the move, it became apparent that adequate attention was not taken to ensure the furniture and the new home were handled with care. This includes edges ripped off furniture; walls and doorways dinged and scraped; and scratches in the floor. All of this is on a freshly renovated home that will now require more significant cost to repair from damages from the move. Fully acknowledging that “things happen” when you move, but when it is multiple items and parts of the home, that is closer to negligence. Also, during our initial conversation, they stated that they use material to protect the floors when moving. They did not do this at the previous home and only when I explicitly requested it at the new house.
      Upon checking out and receiving our final bill, we were charged for time the crew was not working as they took an extended lunch break. In a follow-up conversation with the company, I was told this would be rectified and receive an updated invoice. At this point, I have not received any such information. Lastly, the entire day, the cabin of the moving truck reeked of weed. Which in part may explain the carelessness of the move. The team should not be high while on the clock.
      I went with this company as they are locally owned and came a couple hundred dollars under the other two companies I received quotes from. However, I will now be paying far more in costs to make repairs for their negligence. I recommend exploring other options.
