      I purchased a n ew Homesteader trailer in November of 2024. By January 2025 it had paint falling off and rust EVERYWHERE. Additionally, my hydraulic pumps were leaking and the lights did not work. I contacted the company I purchased the trailer from and was advised that “ Homesteader had a paint defect problem and that they would fix it”. I dropped my trailer off I dropped my trailer off for repairs and after not hearing anything for 6 weeks I called to see how it was going. “We haven’t even sent it for work yet” was the response. When I explained that I make my living with the trailer I received a very ( **** * ***** response from a terrible customer service rep from Tennessee. I finally got a call stating that my trailer had been completed. I asked when i could get it and was told that I could DRIVE TO TENNESEE to get it as they would not transport it back here. I made the 5 1/2 trip only to be lied to by the same nasty woman I had dealt with previously. She said the trailer had been completely sanded and repainted. She stated that they never had any paint issues and didn’t know why they had said that. So, when I got to the trailer imagine my surprise to see that they never sanded the trailer as she was saying they did. They simply painted over the rust. When I pulled out my phone to video tape the conversation the nasty woman got all upset and began spitting and stuttering clearing lying thru her teeth. Now I am going to have to file civil torts against the companies to get any satisfaction. My very sincere advice is this… The only thing worse than the quality of Homesteader products is the service after the sale. Shame on them. I wish I could post pics on here so you could see the workmanship. Disgusting. *** *** **** ** **** ** ** *************** And I will be very happy to send you the video I took of this nasty Homesteader representative and a picture of the spray over. Reminds me of the old Navy saying Once over dust and twice over rust!!
