BUYER BEWARE. PUBLIC SERVICCE ANNOUCEMENT - STAY AWAY
They deserve NO stars. Absolutely disgusting! Took my trailer in for regular service and detailing. They modified my trailer without my permission or awareness. I question what are they covering up? They did not do what they charged me for and lied to repeatedly about various item.. Service was poor at best. My trailer came home poorly painted, scratched and damaged.
I can't tell if this is David's outright dishonesty and immoral work ethic / irresponsibility as a manager, Jason's lack of ownership and action as a General Manager or Kerry's attention to his over-embellished LinkedIn profile vs. doing his job as a President to provide a quality product and ethical work environment.
This company SHOULD NOT BE in business, let alone expanding. This company is unethical and conniving.

We purchased new unit from them in 2022 and the roof seam started leaking and did $********* dollars damage to unit. Insurance went with an independent appraiser and determined that it was manufactures defect. Mckeevers called us to come pick up the unit. Upon arrival my husband let me off at office and went back to hook up to trailer so we could leave when finished. We were treated like criminals. The service manager came out and started shoving my husband from the trailer, had his hands on our truck and yelling loudly. My husband had to call the sheriffs department to file a complaint. I came out and got yelled at because I was trying to get my wallet to pay $****** for an estimate. Went by to pick up police report and tried to pick up a paper to cancel a warranty not worth the paper written on. They wouldn’t give me the paper and wouldn’t let me talk to the owner. I had driven 44 miles to pick the paper up. They said that we should have not been behind the fence but there is no sign saying you can’t be. It says for service pull up. I was inside the office taking care of everything so why push and shove a customer for hooking to their trailer. They are trying to justify the service manager’s actions when no customer should be treated this way. They say we were yelling on the phone NO we were working with Kelly who was very nice. And by the way the girl at the front desk came in laughing and talking about the altercation. This is not the way a business should act. This is the only place I have ever had to pay for a estimate and especially one that is almost $500. This is also the only place (business) where a manager is allowed to treat customers like criminals and shove a customer, Block their truck in when all he was doing was hooking up to it to save time. We never tried to leave without paying (I was inside taking care of everything) but that is what they insinuated. This action is not very business like and is very unacceptable

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. In fact they deserve negative stars because they're so unbelievably awful! STAY AWAY!
If you're in the market for a used RV, keep searching, don't go to McKeever. The RV I bought there should have been junked instead of resold. It had a decent price for a first time rv buyer and that was the selling point.
Customer service: concerns about unit before delivery were not addressed before leaving their lot. Their techs didn't inspect things as far as they should have. They said the floors solid, there was actually several years of rot under the carpeted areas as is was found in the process of replacing the carpet that should've been replaced in the first place because of wear and tear. The fridge went out a week after purchase. They told me the propane tanks were full and the battery was charged...Tanks were empty and the battery was dead as a hammer.
They knew they were taking me for a ride. When I called about questions I never got return calls especially from the finance/warranty person...Jason. They flipped it to make a buck.

I spoke to this customer yesterday after seeing a google review. First of all, they purchased a used unit without a warranty provided by McKeever RV & Marine. They did purchase from us an extended service plan that is provided by a third-party company.
After speaking with Shelby yesterday and gathering some information from them they had the following issues:
    1. Water damage on the floor under the carpet.
    2. The bathroom fan making a noise 3.
The refrigerator is not working (was working ta time of delivery and stop 10 days after.
    4. I was told we were not able to get their unit delivered to the top of the hill due to the ground be wet and unimproved and was told out driver dropped it at the bottom of the him and they had a freind tow it to the top of the hill.
    5. They said that the battery was dead and they propane tanks were not filled.
    6. they said they had called in and was on hold for 15 minutes, our phone system is set up to ring back to the operator after being on hold for 30 seconds so that was impossible.
    After I spoke with Shelby, I then spoke with my service department and here is my response to their concerns;
Item #1 the floor. By law they purchased a unit as is and we are not required to make any repair of this concern however I am willing to work with them. Because Shelby said they were not able to bring the unit in I offered them $500 and $100 to have a handyman do it on their site. After speaking she said they are willing to bring the unit in now and I said I would take care of the repairs.
item #2 Bathroom fan: this would be covered under their service plan but I am willing to take care of that for them and will do that when they bring the unit in.
Item 3 the refrigerator: This was working at time of delivery and this would be coved under their service plan, however they said they wanted to put a residential refrigerator in its place. I am willing to give them $150 that would be the cost to repair the refrigerator so they can use that towards putting their residential refrigerator in.
Item 4 delivery of the unit: what they told me was not the correct facts, they freind hooked to the front of our truck in order to assist in getting the unit up the hill. I am willing to give them a $100 toward that.
Item 5: The unit has an electric jack so they had to battery power to unhook the unit and they propane tanks were filled.
Item 6: The first time my Finance Manager spoke to them yesterday but never had a voice mail prior.
With all of this said I want to try to help these people out however I will not allow them to sander the company name or my name in anyway. I will work with them to schedule a time that works for them and will fit our schedule so we have proper staffing to get this taken care of within a week. They did agree to review their Facebook post yesterday, I will require them to sign off that they are not going to slander or post any negative reviews about the company, any staff member or myself both now and in the future. If they are not willing to sign off on this McKeever RV & Marine will not move forward with anything.
