    Was sold a vehicle that had the check engine light reset as not to show! When you do this with a scanner it only last for a very short period of time usually around 50 miles of driving,just long enough to sell a vehicle! The cost for me to correct all codes ran around ***** dollars. Of course vehicle was sold as is, but they new what they were doing by resetting the codes. Was it worth making some money to do this my word of mouth about this dealer will cost them a lot of business?

    ****************** my name is **** and I am the general manager for Texas Motorcars. I spoke with your salesperson and you have never reached out to us to see if we can assist you after the sale. Your vehicle did pass a Texas state inspection the day you purchased the vehicle which can be verified at ************************************************. In order to pass, no check engine lights can be on. If the light was on at any point and erased it would still not pass unless it was driven for an extended period of time to complete a drive cycle. Your review has several assumptions. None of which are true. Our owner is alive and well and we still take pride in all the vehicles that we retail. Again you never reached out. If you had, I assure you we would of rectified any issue you had. We check out every single vehicle before we sell it. We did offer an extended warranty for the vehicle at the time of sale which you declined. Sorry you had to write such an inaccurate review but we were never given the chance to discuss the problem with you.

     

    Customer never contacted us with a problem or complaint. This was the only communication we ever received.
