      II have been trying to get a new pair of diabetic shoes since June 27 2022 I am very upset about all the confusion over the paper work that is needed if it is not one thing it is another very unhappy this could not have been done in 1 trip to the dr and the place to fit my shoes I would like it to be known that this is NO way to treat a patient if you want the business to continue to grow with a strong good record..

      I would not recommend anyone to go to hanger clinic to get fitted for a prosthesis. I originally got my first prosthesis for below the knee amputation from hanger clinic about 5 years ago. Their customer service is terrible, you will be left to wait over 30 minutes before being called in, phone calls and inquiries to resolve issues are very rarely returned leaving you stranded until issue can get resolved at next appointment. But more recently I was fitted with a new prosthetic for my above the knee amputation and right from the start I told them that it was not a good fit for many different reasons. I was told to keep trying to walk with it and it would fix itself! I am blind so if I have to put a laynar thru a tiny space in order to secure the leg on then it will be an issue but I am told to keep on trying (as blindness will resolve itself?) they could have offered to make the whole bigger but no. The leg itself is not fitting properly, my surgeon also said I needed a new prosthesis if I want to walk again. Hanger's lack of consideration and/or compassion weight heavily on me and I want to go to a better clinic that cares about their patient. In order for me to do I need to return the leg toi hangar clinic so that ******** can cover the cost of a new leg. Hanger has refused to issue me a return slip.I am so very done with them but had to go back to show how it is not a good fit and all they did is fix a broken latch, I was so mad I left the leg there. No one called me since about that which goes to prove how they do not care. In the meantime I am stuck in a wheelchair unable to go to a better place so I can walk again.All this company cares about is their profit. After reading all the complaints here and then reading their response which solves none of the complainer issues I am disgusted by their practices.All I want is a return slip so that i can move on with my life and get fitted somewhere else with a leg that fits.Do not go there

      I am rejecting this response because

      I was out of the country over the past 3 weeks and was only able to review my complaint about Hanger Clinic not providing me with a return slip today.
      If their response to my complaint was the 3 lines sentence stating and I quote:

      Then no I am not satisfied with their answer. It is same answer they give to every complaint. They stated that they will assure that management will reviews this situation and responds as appropriate. THEY HAVE NOT! They never tried to reach out to ***************
      They have not provided ******************************* with the return slip. They have done absolutely nothing.
      Them stating they will respond as appropriate is a lie and it resolves absolutely nothing.

      Ot sure were to go from here but though I should let the BBB know.
