In the Fall of 2023, I received a survey request from **** to respond and answer questions about the mail I received for one week. I was told that if I accepted, the **** Diary Survey would be conducted by the company Nustats, and if I completed it, I would be sent a reward/gift of $50 for my time. I completed the survey online for everyday requested, and finished at the end of Oct, 2023. I received a call thanking me for finishing the survey. I then waited the recommended ***** weeks for processing, and when nothing showed up, I started contacting Nustats in Feb 2024. I have received several responses from them, ranging from "this was mailed today" to "I will check with accounting on this" to "this will be mailed in May" then followed with "this will be mailed in June" and then radio silence. It's been 9 months now since I completed the terms of this survey.Initial Complaint

I completed a **** Household Diary Study in June of 2023. Like so many other complaints I see listed on your site, they never came through with the promised gift of 100 first-class stamps for completing the study. They stated that the gift would be mailed 6-8 weeks after submission. After phone calls and multiple emails, and repeatedly being told it would be mailed next week/next month/we deeply apologize and will also send you an $20 Amazon gift card, etc., it is now eight months later, I still haven't received anything. I participated in the **** Household Diary Study from February 27, 2023 to March 5, 2023. In exchange, I was given the option of receiving either $40.00 or 100 first-class stamps. I chose the 100 stamp option. I do not remember how long after completion they said to wait until the gift arrived, but I believe it was 6 to 8 weeks. After never receiving the "gift," I emailed them on July 6 and July 7, and they responded they would look into it. I never heard from them, so I emailed them again on July 25, at which point they said the stamps would be mailed in August. They never arrived, and I called them and emailed them, with no response. I see that many people have logged complaints with BBB about the same thing, so I am adding my voice to the list since I never received the stamps, and it is obvious that they have no intention of following through on their promise. I also want the general public to know that, if they spend the one week's time and effort into participating, they will not be compensated.Customer Answer

I unfortunately responded to a **** Household Diary Survey that was being conducted by Nustats in January 2023. I spent a week sorting and recording my mail as well as documenting it online and finally mailing the envelopes to Nustats at the end of the week. The incentive to go through these few hours of trouble was 100 stamps or ~$40. I opted for the stamps and as of August 1st, I've received nothing. It's useless to call their "hotline", as it just goes to a voicemail. The only way to contact the program running this survey is by email and they've been less than helpful. I completed a mail survey and did everything I was supposed to do and Nustats has not done their part as far as sending my $40.00 gift. I responded to a piece of mail from the united states postal service to participate in a household diary study during the week of Thanksgiving 2021. The week of Nov. 21 thru Nov. 27. I participated and followed all instructions and completed the survey as requested. The incentive to participate was the choice of $40.00 or a gift of 100 stamps. I have yet to receive promised gift. After numerous e-mails and phone calls to NuStats which is the company that handled the promotion, I have gotten nowhere but a promise that they would be mailed out soon.Customer Answer

Having completed a **** Home Study Survey in Feb 2022 and sent Nustats the results with the promise of receiving 100 Stamps. As of October 2022 Nustats has failed to honor the reward program. Nustats solicited my participation in a market research study for ***** They promised to send $40 for my participation. That was in July, 2022. They never sent the check. Everytime I contact them they keep giving another future date when it will go out. It never does. I see there are other complaints along the same lines about these crooks.Initial Complaint

Participated in a **** Household Diary Study conducted by Nustat in January 2022 and was given the option of $40 check or 100 forever postage stamps for completing the week long survey.Did everything that was asked on the survey. I chose the 100 Forever postage stamps and never received them. Sent an e-mail to them on 8/29 and got a response that they would check into it. In January 2022, I participated in a **** (US *************** Household Diary Study being conducted by Nustats, a research firm, for the ****. For participating in the study, I selected a $40 payment plus a $10 Wal-Mart gift card. They were to be paid in ***** weeks, which should have been by the end of April. I have called and emailed numerous times most of which I never received a response. One email response indicated that it would taken care of by mid-July. To date, I still have not received the gifts that I am entitled to. I'm sure that the **** is paying this firm a sizable amount to conducted the survey, but they are not living up to the terms of the study with the participants. Any help in resolving this problem would be appreciated.
