      On 12/23/24 this company took $710.04 (Garnished Wages without any notice). Its not on my credit report, and this is not my debt. Zero communication, or documentation with me! My employer contacted me. It is from a judgement issued in 2017 on an account dated back to 2013. I an truly at a loss as to what to do. I will be contacting legal counsel just can not believe a company can just garnish wages without any communication. Feel very violated.

      On today I attempted to make a payment to this agency and their website went back to home page. I called to see if payment was initiated on their end and spoke to 3 different people that were unable to help. How can a company have you on a payment plan but fail to be able to assist if their site glips. If I miss a payment then they will say I didnt honor agreement and if I double pay itll be more time and energy to be refunded. The agent was rude and sarcastically told me it was above her pay grade and when I asked for a manager was told it would be 5 minutes

      I was served illegally  by ************************* which is now Scott and Associates furthermore when I was served by this firm back in 2021 for something that is not on my credit  file I never got that letter and didn't  get it until  2 years later and I found it through  an attorney  that it's invalid   claim

      Hello on 12 /18/2023 I have followed  the instructions  that you gave me I have responded to this but they have not responded  just today I got a letter from them I've sent documents  to their firm regarding  identity  theft and fraud through the federal  trade commission they do have the ** number  on the cease  and decist  letter  like I said I was never served any papers  by the previous  law firm ************************* I only got the paperwork  from Scott and associates  June of this year at this address I currently  reside I have no knowledge of  any paperwork  from that ************************* firm I've submitted a fraud  id number  through  bank  of America  if you look at the responses a gave also there's a police report  number  I also gave to you I responded  3 different  times within the last  week  I want this closed  I also gave you an updated credit  report  which you have on file if you need anything else you can call this number  your bank  of America  fraud department   ************ which they have all the information   also thank you

      This debt buying company Scott & Associates in ********, ** purchased a debt of Mine and sent me summons for court. I paid them $2610 on September 6, 2023 to settle. They deducted the payment from my account and have still refused to drop their lawsuit. I called September 28th, 2023 to double check and follow up I complained to them about how their accounting department drop the ball and they decided to do something about it until October 3, 2023 absolutely uncalled for. This is ridiculous. No consumer should ever have to go through something like this they have still refused to drop this bogus lawsuit. How is this even legal to harass people and take their hard earned money?

      I have been contacted by Portfolio Associates and their fake lawyers Scott & Associates. I did not sign a contract with Portfolio Associates. I signed a contract with Rooms to Go. So Portfolios Associates signed a contract with Rooms to Go not me. So I dont owe you a dime. BUT lets take this to trial because Id like to see you explain to a jury of my peers how us struggling citizens owe a random company money that I did not go in agreement with nor sign a contract with Portfolio associates.       I am rejecting this response because my financial institution has confirmed that there have not been any attempts made to collect these funds. I have and have always had the money to cover the balance owed. *** made several payments out of this account without any issues. I made a second payment on 8/28 and submitted a request on the companys website for a call once again. I am simply trying to ensure that my payments are taken so that I dont have to face legal action for a DEBT I AM ATTEMPTING TO PAY!!!! The companies failure of their processing system is not on my end.

      The Firm has attempted to contact you each time we have received a request from you to do so, however we have only been able to leave voice mail messages as appropriate.       I am rejecting this response because this company is lying in an attempt to collect additional fees. My financial information is valid and has not changed. The funds are available and have been available since both transactions were entered. My financial institution is also willing to provide proof of the inaccuracies being presented by this company. I have only been contacted once and have been told that online payments were acceptable. This company is using a processing system that does not work as I havent received any notification that any attempts have been made and the funds are available to be taken. I am requesting that the BBB works with customers to prevent this company from doing this to other consumers. If I did not have the funds or wasnt making an attempt to pay, I would not have initiated this conversation with the BBB for support. I am being taken advantage of by this company and I am simply TRYING TO PAY but this company is lying about my payment being declined when NO ATTEMPTS HAVE BEEN MADE!!!! This should be illegal!!!

      I was served by Scott and Assoc for a years old debt. My lawyer replied to the court. This debt is so old that is past the point of being able to collect in *****. I have contacted Scott and Assoc to inform them of this, and the response from my lawyer is on file with the court. They are now serving me again, and trying to *** me a second time for the same debt.

      On 7/7/23 this company took $719.10 without any notice. Its not on my credit report, and I do not recognize the name of the business. When I try to put up a profile using my information and the information on my bank statement it says invalid. Also, the number provided is a different company than whats listed on my statement.
