      Wellmed is very unethical and I am in the process of retaining an Attorney. My Pharmacy has reached out to Wellmed for the last 3 weeks with no response to refill my **************** Medicines.Wellmed's response to me is that I needed to set an appointment,which I have but they cannot see me until June 26th,all the time I am without my Medicines for Chronic conditions. I even complained to the Corporate Office,still no mens and I am not feeling well. Please folks consider going elsewhere because they do not care about our health,just the ******** holding important medicines hostage that could lead even to my death. I will find a Lawyer to help me.

      Rarely have encountered a more poorly operated entity then WELLMED. My complaints: Incredibly poor website, almost impossible to sign in on.Very difficult to obtain an appointment. (Seems they have way more patients than the ability to serve them. Same as saying grossly Understaffed)Understaffed with physicians - services mostly provided by PA's (often not a bad thing though)And my chief complaint: The seem more focused on profit than care. From what I can tell, they are really an insurance company that employs medical staff. Focus seems to be on reducing their costs and NOT patient care. NOT what I want.

      The average doctors and the worst care and staff. They want your ** to be so low you can't walk. If you have complications with meds and call them they say they will consult the ** and call you back, never callback not even after calling 7 times. I went on the healow app to reorder a med the only way to get a response. So avoid them if you want personalized care. This is a big corpo money making scam and your health is only a minor concern. Run away from them as fast as you can!

      Well Med, I had a great experience. They took great care of me. It was my first time a the *********** location. The front desk staff was very professional. She made a copy of my insurance without me asking. I appreciate her help. Dr ****** is very knowledgeable, explained everything to me. The back staff, **** was very ice & professional. They gave me a flu shot, the nurse didn't hurt me at all. I left very content, it was a great visit!

      Scammers! They changed their company name after so many complaints and doctors not wanting to work with them.I pay my doctors office and then receive a bill from Wellmed which would make what *** paid for years jump up $50. Not happening! Scam someone else!

      I live my dr * **** but Wellmed as a whole, please go somewhere else... They had a meeting on July 18th and laid off Dr's * ************* Several Dr's have told me wellmed only cares about the insurance money... They are correct... It's the worst company and they should be ashamed.

      If I could put -15 to a -100 I would Welmed dont know what the He -double hockey sticks theyre doing. And when they (Welmed) says you have to go to a pacific doctor because of your kidneys and its the water pills for the heart not kidneys . And having to go to other doctors that they think someone needs to go to . Also when having a teles visit appointment at a specific time and it gets rescheduled. Also getting told to go to one location for a Welmed visit and it is the wrong location and it is out side on the bus for ******?

      Terrible provider service. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing when it comes to claims processor, claims representatives, and the ***************************** Payer gives the provider a prior authorization for services, then denies for "propensity to misuse." Provider submits medical records to show medical necessity even though the prior authorization is the payer's acknowledgement of medical necessity (apparently not for WellMed). Records submitted in Feb 2024, still not reviewed by May 2024. Then in June 2024, payer denies same code that was authorized for no *** approval when product is ***-approved. When calling in for status of appeals, provider must prompt the rep to get the correct **** to even begin the review because appeals are received but then just sit untouched for > 60 business days. Rep ****** they use FIFO method and are backlogged, but records received months ago are just now added to the queue for review. Disorganized beyond belief. Per supervising rep, the process is broken. WellMed is currently putting more energy into auditing claims than processing and paying them, and this practice has put all appeals/claims reviews far behind schedule. Massive disservice to providers and members.

      The new Business, formerly known as ******************************* is horrific in every way. Administrative changes, absolutely poor poor communication, and a sense of comfort are completely destroyed. Even changes in the physical aspect of the facility are poorly designed from the original welcoming building. Strange new exits of people who were there for decades does not add to putting the patient at ease. Some comments will be withheld because of personally knowing at least two of the staff. A couple of doctors have been given good reviews, and I am glad of that. Otherwise, this is not a medical facility one would put his trust in. I was a patient for 37 years. I will not go back to this facility.
