    I purchased a tempest 120p and the peddle drive is not useable the way the kayak was made and same situation after talking with Adam for weeks he stopped responding so I too called Holly and spoke with her and now she stopped responding so I too will be taking this to court after spending almost 2000.00 for a junk kayak. This is the worst company and absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced from any company.

    Dale, we have attempted to troubleshoot this issue with you, but when last we spoke we asked for pictures and a video so we could help you, but you sent a response that you just want to return the kayak. We have 1000's of these kayaks out on the water, as this has been our best selling model for 5 years. I understand if you still want to return it, please bring it back to us and we will refund you.

    Hoodoo Sports is absolutely the worst company I have dealt with.
    I bought my Hoodoo Impulse 120 brand new from a one of Hoodoo’s authorized dealers.
    Once I got the kayak home I noticed the kayak had pits all over bottom, some almost all the way through bottom of kayak.
    Then I noticed deformation in kayak in multiple spots, once I put the rudder on on noticed rudder tilts up and is pressed against handle and will not turn all the way and has so much tension that it is hard to use.
    I contacted Hoodoo warranty and talked to Adam, after weeks of dealing with Adam he stopped emailing me, so then I contacted customer support and talked to Holly. I told her what was going on and she assured me that she would get it taken care of and help me. After weeks of talking to here she let me know that there is nothing they can do because I bought the kayak from one of their dealers instead of buying it straight from them. Then she stopped responding.
    I spent over $1,700 on this kayak after taxes.
    Now it’s about the principle of it and I will take them to small claims court.

    Scott, so sorry you have had a bad experience with our customer service, but we have suggested several things for you to try and none have satisfied you. First of all, when purchasing something at a store, most folks would have noticed any cosmetic issues and discussed with the local merchant. Second, we have offered you options of a discount, to exchange the kayak for another one, or return for full refund. Instead you have chosen to blast nasty comments on social media and through reviews. My suggestion is for you to return the kayak for a full refund to the local merchant you purchased from so we can all move forward. Good luck to you sir.
