    do not sign up. worst *** ever will do everything to deny your claim. friend had them for over a year. car needs engine replacement .they are denying because the oil change place wrote the wrong milage by a ***** miles an obvious mistake. they should really quit robbing ppl . be ashamed of yourself. AVOID AT ALL COST -5 stars

    I bought a warranty through Premier Warranty who sales the warranty for HeadStart Warranty Group in ******, Tx. They sold me a complete warranty coverage, which is supposed to be the highest coverage you can get. I was under the impression that complete coverage means everything thats connected to the engine was covered. I was told to send pictures of the damaged parts and what was damaged. After sending the pictures and everything that was asked for, when it was time to honor the warranty HeadStart found every excuse to not cover or honor the warranty. They then tried to shift the blame on Premier Warranty. After speaking to premier warranty they then shift the blame back to HeadStart. Both those companies are misleading. I would not recommend getting a warranty from either company. Worst mistake I made.

    I am a senior citizen on disability. I purchased my extended auto warranty with *************** to protect me from breakdowns. So, I have a problem with my car wobbling/shuttering. I took my car to a RepairPal repair shop and told them my problem. They said that I did indeed need a tire rod and axle. Then for some reason they decided to check my transmission and all of a sudden my perhaps $1000 repair bill is now $8000+! They said I needed an entire transmission because the fluid was burnt and I had some metal shavings, which I read is normal wear and tear. I have had no problems with my transmission. Of course, the warranty company will only pay up to the value of my car which is probably $5000, so now I am out of $3000+! And because the RepairPal shop "recommended" a new transmission, this warranty company will not fix my MAIN problem, tire rods and axle so that I can safely drive my car. Also, because I cannot show proof that I had my transmission serviced at ******* miles even though I had my local **** dealership do some work on it which included checking the fluid level, etc., at ******* miles, I can't even get the transmission if I could afford it. And because the RepairPal shop mentioned the "recommendation" for a new transmission, the warranty company refuses to move forward and fix my wobbling car. I had to pay a $145 fee to the RepairPal shop for the diagnosis on my car and because I do not agree with the shop's recommendation, I was told I could take it to another shop, which is another diagnostic fee, money I do NOT have! What a rip off with this company! I have had the warranty since November 2024 and this is my first time attempting to use it. So even if I needed a new transmission, I still could not get the transmission because I do not have proof of the transmission maintenance service AND I do not have the additional $3000+ out of pocket, so I apparently get NOTHING! This company *****!

    Spoke with ****** *. upon being talked into the warranty contract. He was very patient and kind, and answered a lot of my questions. It was for him that I even entertained signing up for a warranty. I'm sorry that ******, has to work for such a joke of a company.I never received the documentation outlining the contract as promised, and over some thought, did not want to be in the contract. I called the customer service # provided, and was told "someone would give me a call back eventually". I asked for a general time (48 hours, a week, anything) but was repeatedly told they have no idea. So I stated, "So they could never reach out ever, is what you're telling me?" Which prompted them to flag my case. I was called back by ******* *., who answered the call seemingly already flustered. I told him I wanted to cancel my contract and opt out. He stated I could not do that, as I already "locked into a 36-month loan contract". After repeatedly telling him that it was not true, and that I never signed anything, he proceeded to say the contract was agreed upon orally via a recorded line. I stated "Well, if it was based off the verbal agreement, I was verbally told I could cancel in 30 days. Your recorded voice line should've picked up on that." He went speechless, called me a "joke paralegal" and stated he would cancel the contract because "who would ever want to work with a customer like you".Well, I certainly don't want to work with a company that lies to its customers about the clauses of the contract to make it seem like it's not possible to leave the contract (though it is stated within the first line of their cancellation policy) I hope for ********* sake he finds a better job too. When I asked for physical documentation or a confirmation # affirming my account has been cancelled, I was told they "don't do that". Hmmmmm. Yeah stay away and don't let the nice customer service at first fool you.

    If we could leave 0 stars we would. We needed to cancel our auto renewal policy so my husband called prior to the due date. Whomever he spoke to did NOT document or note any such conversation nor did he cancel our policy. We were still charged for the warranty and still haven't received our refund. Also realize that there is separate cancelation policy and refund policy. Just because you cancel your policy doesn't mean you're getting a refund. You have to wait 21 days for our refund because someone didn't do their job. This company is a fraud and the employees are thieves.

    Purchased a 2018 Mercedes E-400 in Jan of 2024. Passenger side AC was blowing out hot air. I took it back to *************** in May of 2024. It was repaired by their team. I started having the issue again. I took it to two companies and this is what was found. There was a paste like substance that was used to seal the area and screws inserted where they should not have been. The actuator has to be repaired again. The warranty through Headstart Warranty Group that is supposed to cover this sort of ******** Not.

    The aforementioned failure is not a covered failure per the terms and conditions of the service contract. This is what was complained about - There was a paste like substance that was used to seal the area and screws inserted where they should not have been. The actuator has to be repaired again.That is not a covered item. Whomever put the paste and screws in there should be covering this.

    This company either participates in or outsources telephone spam. Their representatives have spam called my phone from over 20 different phone numbers within the last month. Sometimes as many as 3 or 4 phone calls per day. The representatives will hang up if you ask for any information about what company they're from or express anything other than blind interest in an 'extended car warranty'. Please do something about their shady business practices and annoying telephone spam.

    Scam beware. They have been calling my husband from multiple different numbers even when we requested they stop. Its always the same woman speaking too. Their website is fake too. Hang up the phone, tell them you know they are a scam.

    I called multiple times just to cancel I was held on the phone for 30 mins first time and the guy just kept talking asking the reason why I want to cancel and i clearly told him I decided on a better coverage. After talk that when I asked for a refund of the monthly payment he stated the first payment was non refundable which the refund and policy cancellation was the first thing I asked for so he purposely waited to tell me once he felt he said all he wanted. Also was odd that after I told them my payments for another company they matched it exactly. Worse thing to me honestly was the amount of info they had on me to get me to switch at first I thought it would be a good thing because all the benefits they listed but after reading reviews I quickly changed my mind. I also didnt like how I was hung up on multiple times and they had no department that directly handles billing all the lady kept saying was Ill put in a request its not up to me theyll review and give one if they decide. I was practically forced to decide right away when the first signed me up and kept saying they cant lock in the process if I call back next time. I shouldve followed my gut and said no

    You would not have called Headstart for a cancel. That would have been who you bought the contract from. We just adjudicate the claims.
