On the above date and approximate time, ************************************* positive Identified by ******** Driver License #************ Victim of Identity Theft. ************************ stated "he noticed fraudulent activity of his credit report and didn't give permission for anyone to open and establish a Santander Consumer USA account nor purchase a vehicle. ************************ also provided information that he was stationed in the U.S Army ********* Installation on active-duty status from May 14, 2021, through May 12, 2022. ************************ stated he noticed that fraudulent activity when he started to receive information about the purchase of a vehicle. On the date of October 5, 2020 (offender) unknown at this time. Opened a Santander Consumer USA account #***************** without the knowledge and permission of ************************************* in the amount of $15,428. Using an expired ******** Driver License of ************************************* that was turned in to the ******** Secretary of ************* The offender was able to purchase a vehicle from ************************* of ******** on the above date.

I got a car from Santander in 08/2021 I put down ******$ but my payments were still 670$ a month every month the balance due was wrong they were always rude in 12/2022 I made about a ***** plus payment and ******* still put it in charge off that same month but thats ok the payment I never received any paperwork about it in 04/2023 the car was picked up but it is still sitting on my report the amount is wrong my ****** never reflected and I havent heard anything from this company since they beat me out of thousands of dollars and got the car this company is horribleBusiness Response

When we came up to the lot, we noticed there were a lot of salesmen greeting ** and asking me and my husband to fill out credit paperwork, getting copies of our driver's licenses/I.D.'s, Letters of our income from Social Security, which were very skeptical. They NEVER once said it would be SANTANDER CONSUMER USA! If they had mentioned ANYTHING about the 30 states lawsuit we would have immediately walked out of that lot, got into my son's car I had at the time which was another Bogus loan I've had to report! A 2019 ************* the very same car, just a different color the detailer got for his girlfriend, No income non paying, making her credit better than ours by stealing our income towards BOTH these cars! When I tried refinance OUR Versa, her amounts of her Versa shows up on our Versa making the payments $437.26 per month at a ****% interest rate on our credit instead of $218 per month! Which is ALSO why our credit is not going up in the 3 YEARS of our payments ON and Off time due to the lawsuit to pay off other customers and because of her Versa being paid for by US! She does not pay ANYTHING while WE have paid for 3 years Registration and Full coverage insurance 1st with Progressive 2 years $137 and now with AAA of $161.47! See how we keep getting Ripped-off! We keep paying way more than we're suppose tombe paying while a non-working, non-paying girlfriend just ride around for Free! THIS is a form of Identity Theft which we're also are victims of and I have reported to all 3 credit bureaus! That Should be some Excellent Credit for US! Account was paid at the end of each month company charged off our account for a bad debit which it was not with no written letter or anything.... I have all statements and payments and credit reports where when they updated everything was incorrect ... when we called to figure out what was going on representative told us if we learned to pay out bills this would not happen and was also told that the vehicle was written off for tax purposes have tried to contact Santander numerous times with help to this matter and they refuse to help I am begging for help in this matter please when talking to them today we ask what we could do to have this removed they told us absolutely nothing that this is what happens when people don't pay there bills and we got what we deserved ... they have ruined our credit and do not care to help us at all ... This is not what response I even asked for this company was in a massive lawsuit and is trying anything they can to get out of it ... mine nor my husbands credit reports are the same through this company my stammers do not add up there is several months I'm which the balance never changed . I know what the contract states that is not what I was looking for the fact this company never sent a charge off to us and then told us we got charged off as a tax write off is very unprofessional!!! This company should not even be in business they try to mess people over and then don't even want to help them ... I have all of my credit respites and statement which Santander had actually tried to delete from there end but I already had it all saved before they could get away with it so I wouldn't have proof of the things they was doing several things are incorrect... it will not let me attach all of my files but I will send them by mail to bbb... this has to be addressed and something has to be done with Santander the wash there *************** talks to people and then the info tge submitted is not even what is going on they have screwed me and my family along with millions of other people and it needs to stop ... I will not quit until this is resolved ... Santander is a horrible business and something needs to be done with them ... they should never be able to say they charged you off for tax write off !!! And I do have ever employee number that I have spoke to as well .... Even the one who said if I paid my bills this would not have happened!!!!

On Wednesday January 4,2023 at 11:30 am Santander came and repossessed my vehicle I called customer service they told me that they haven't received a payment from September 2022 til December 2022... I have reached out to SANTANDER CONSUMER USA. Also, they are reporting inaccurate and incomplete credit information. I demand these late payments be removed from my credit report immediately. You also do not have any permissible purpose to furnish my personal information to any third party. Your company is in clear violation of the law. On 10/24/2022 I spoke with a representative with initials ***** I requested a deferment for my October payment which he provided. In addition he stated I could pay 92 for the next 6 months for the month of November, in addition to my regular monthly payments. I called back due to constant collection calls. I was told by ******** who stated she was at the executive office on 11/30. She advised they do not offer payment arrangements and she will review the call and see how they assist me. I then spoke with ***** on 12/1 who stated she, herself had not reviewed the call and that they do not offer arrangements and they could do a promise to pay.Business Response
