Worse service ever i seek help with them.and told them i i need then to file for bankruptcy but not to take my payments until December becasue I was with out a car but they didn't and were taking them on October and i told them and i cancel my cases and guess want lost my money your work with this kind people ever

1 starOur 85 year old father is in failing health and has incurred unstable credit card debt so we needed someone to help us file for Chapter 7. We spent months getting them all the information they needed. Our father is incapable of providing anything through a computer to their portal on his own so we would need him to either take pictures or mail is the documents needed to proceed and we would then upload them for him. We had the meeting with the lawyer *************************** on 9/21/23. We were told we had provided everything that was needed and that they would be filing our case shortly and that we should be getting a notification for the mandatory 341 meeting. All of these meetings are done virtually so my brother had to travel from Michigan to ***** to help my father out for the 9/21 meeting and i will have to travel from ************** to ***** for the 341 mandatory meeting. It has now been over a months time and Allmand has not filed for Chapter 7. We finally got a response from *************************** who by the way was a pleasure to work with in getting all the forms completed and into the portal. We were told that our file was still in review and should be filed pending Mr ****** approval. One week later and we still have not gotten any response. We are not trying to be difficult but we have paid their fees in advance of filing, our fathers credit card debt is growing at a alarming pace, this situation has only added more stress to his failing health and we cannot understand how anyone or any law firm that says it can help someone out like our father, take his money, ask him to provide all the documentation they said they needed, have a virtual meeting with him, say everything is good, they should be filing shortly and then do nothing for over 30 days. I have to say after reading many of these reviews Im just disheartened that we might have gotten my father into a terrible situation.
