      CLS Barbri Paralegal Certificate is not as advertised. I did the online - it takes 20+ hours per week (not the 8-10 advertised). My Instructor and the online course had different directions for assignments and tests. Our week 1 instructions from the teacher said instructions were subject to change mid week so check back. Totally unacceptable - give the directions and let us work. The tests took 9-11 hours to do (other students confirmed the same amount of time needed). The instructor was *** taking 3-6 days to respond to simple emails/bulletin board questions yet assignments were due by Sunday evening each week. There were times they responded to questions about assignments/tests for that week AFTER the weekly deadline. We also had instructions to only analyze the facts in the scenarios given for tests but then when graded we were told we should have considered things not in the scenario. My instructor was higher up in the organization and had been with them for decades yet was completely disorganized. The class should have been on auto pilot for them. I withdrew after 3 weeks. I was initially told no refunds/had to happen before classes began but no way to no problems until classes started. Things got worse week after week. I submitted ****** Drive Folder with multiple documents showing failures, lack of responses, lack of interaction, contradictory instructions/grading and more. I cited State law that allowed me to *** for more than the tuition amount due to false advertising including advertising benefits that did not exist. I gave them 48 hours to refund my money, they refunded it within 24 hours. Don't put up with crappy services, think long and hard before using this program. They may be well known but that doesn't mean they are the best.
