      Ventra Health, through its PhysicianBillPay Portal, has submitted an adverse action to Experian stating that I am delinquent on an account for the sum of $2100.00 on behalf of one of their clients, Bayside Emergency Physicians. This is, ostensibly, for services rendered when I visited ********************* Emergency for Covid-19 on 11/03/2023. I have contacted St *********, and they have told me that I have no outstanding bill with them. I also tried to contact Bayside Emergency Physicians and was greeted by someone with a foreign accent simply stating that my credit card was declined. I tried to visit their office and found a sign referring me to their registered agent which is a PO box with ************ Solutions. I further researched PhysicianBillPay on the web and there was some suggestion that they were a scam. I then contacted them by phone and tried to resolve the issue, the individual at their call center stated that they could not send me the bill without me signing a medical records access form. I am reluctant to do so inasmuch as I have no way of knowing if this company is legitimate and why they would need the release and my Social Security number.I further logged into their portal and the information they have on file for my insurance is wrong. I have ******** as my Primary and **************************** as my secondary. They also have a wrong address for me. My attempt to change the information on the portal have not been successful. I further wrote them an explanation via their portal but have not received a response.This debacle has caused a 150 point hit to my credit rating which was above 825 when this action was reported to the credit bureau. I want this resolved by them submitting properly to ******** and to my ******************** It is egregious that I have never been notified, contacted, by anyone prior to this and yet they chose to file an adverse action against me. The hospital where I received emergency treatment has all my records.
