      Silence, in this case the lack of a response from this company to very serious accusations of these violations of the Caller ID Act really does scream guilty in this matter. If I were to be accused of a serious criminal fraud I had not committed then I would voice my innocence at every opportunity. American messaging? absolutely nothing, no response, no explanation, just silence!

      m where it hurts by filling a complaint with the ***** Go to the Consumer Inquiries and **************** to report them.Also add your number to the National Do-Not-Call Registry, not that they care but at least your number is listed there when the *** actually does something about this company.

      To Whom It May ****************** response to an inquiry dated October 1, 2023, from the Better Business Bureau regarding the above-referenced complaint, I represent American Messaging Services, and this complaint has been forwarded to me for resolution. Please know that American Messaging is committed to address all concerns and exceed our customersexpectations promptly and in a timely manner.

      Regarding any robo calls to ****************, American Messaging does not make outbound calls to our customers unless a call back is requested. We are not equipped with auto-dialers and have found in the past that outside individuals or companies have spoofed our numbers to conduct robo calls to consumers, making it appear that a reputable company is trying to contact them. Number spoofing is a scam that works by fraudsters cloning the telephone number of the organization they want to impersonate and then making it appear on the victims caller ID display when they telephone them on a landline. Please be assured these calls are not being made by American Messaging Services, LLC. As a suggestion to help **************** gain further resolution, he can contact his telephone company to request the robo calls to be traced.

      We appreciate the opportunity to respond to these concerns. We would like to extend our deepest apologies for the inconveniences this situation caused.

      everyday several times a day i am contacted by American Messaging services. that is what shows on my caller id. i have blocked this number every time they call. i have told them to stop calling i asked them to take me off the list i am not interested in their services. and still every day they call.

      I have had several calls from many many numbers from the same messaging company. They either want to sell something you do t have or say nothing at all at all hours of the night and day!       We used an answering service for years, which in turn used American Messaging to get our messages to us on a pager. We discontinued our answering service, was unaware that we had any kind of contract directly with American Messaging. I reluctantly paid a $36.82 bill on 8/10/22, which was incurred because we didn't cancel our service in a timely fashion. I returned our pager that we used for years, (which sat on my desk for the last year unused). On 10/31/22 I received a bill for $121.33 for a damaged unit. I called American Messaging and was told that there was "significant damage" to our pager during a quality inspection, and it was unrepairable. It may have been dropped, or had moisture in it. She said this was a leased unit and needed to be returned in the same good working condition as it was issued to me (in 2015). I asked for a copy of our agreement and was told that I should have known it was on their website. When the pager was issued to us in 2015 it was 'revamped' meaning it was used when we received it 6 or 7 years ago. I told her I disagreed with the charges and was told it would go to collections if not paid. I had a one time option to accept a courtesy credit of half of the charges.
