  When I was first cold called by this company (which was right around Christmas time) the woman, "Trasie *****", on the phone only introduced herself by her first name and NEVER stated that she was a rep for a company. I thought she was a local volunteer looking for sponsors. After further discussion and digging before submitting payment, their true SCAM of a business was reviled! I was called a few times by one of their reps but with the school out on Christmas break, I was not able to completely verify myself. I asked the rep to have his contact with the school call or email me. Of course this never happened. I did end up reaching out to her myself and she quickly confirmed that they do not do business with Campus Box Media (AKA Spirit Stop) and that I should not send them any money. Since, no one from the company has followed up but I still get regular bills through email and even paper mail.
  I really hope that others don't fall for their misleading ways.

  This company almost scammed me. I never signed any agreements or anything, but they contacted me stating my business was recommended to them for a sponsorship opportunity with a local high school. The school was in a county in my state that I had never even heard of which should have been a red flag. Nevertheless, I was a naive and new business owner, I thought it'd be an excellent opportunity to market my business as well as gain more clients. Campus Box Media and its affiliates seemed to have preyed on that. I never submitted my payment information as we discussed by phone since I was a bit skeptical after I requested a change in the sponsorship package, and hadn't heard back nor received an updated invoice. Weeks passed, and I received a generic invoice by mail for the original amount and immediately emailed the representative who had initially set everything up. I then noticed an email on the paper invoice for Campus Box Media and sent them an email asking for an explanation. I never heard anything back from them either. Currently, I am trying to stay on top of this to avoid any surprises, so I decided to research the company and came across several reviews from others who have done business with them. No surprise that others have similar views on this company and its practices. If you are a new business owner or even established, you'll be better off marketing your business by just paying for online ads. This is scandalous and I hope no one else falls for this scheme. They prey on desperate individuals looking to get their businesses off the ground, and after more thought, it does not even make sense that a random company would want another business that isn't widely known as a sponsor.
