I received a call and post card on 4/16/2024, about my sorority verification program. During the call , I participated in a recorded Phone interview discussing my experience at college and my fond memories. Also , how has my sorority benefited me since college. I was asked to pay $205.63 to purchase the sorority alumi album. A hard push was made to buy other items,etc. I stayed with the album only. The album was to arrive in January-February 2025. I kept thinking, maybe it will arrive. I have NOT received anything. I just recently called some sorority sisters and found out they never received the call or email. Wished I had contacted our national office before purchasing. This is definitely a scam.Business Response

I purchased a oral history project (recording and physical book) from *** in January of 2024 and as of May 2025 have still not received the product. The business has acknowledge that the delivery of product is now pending Fall 2025, I feel that this is an egregious considering I should have received product of what I paid for in early 2024.Business Response

I received a call and post cards in Feb 2024, about alumni verification program. During the call, I was asked to pay $295 for buying alumni voice album etc, and part of $295 will be donation to my university. I never receive anything from this publishing concepts company. The printed publications are expected to ship in summer 2025 but the digital version released back in in February. I found out someone called my elderly father (82 years old) and sold him on the purchase of the company's product. I take care of my father's finances as he is unable to do so. My father can not afford this purchase, he is on a fixed income. I am requesting some ***** on this situation and requesting an immediate refund of the amount she authorized, and ask that on no other charges to processed under his name or address. The transaction amount was $472.96 and occured on 4/2/2025. It was debited from his primary checking account. I ask that all of her contact information including her credit card information be deleted from the company's system. I have legal power of attorney for my father and more than welcome to share it within someone before the credit be processed but if someone could please contact me and I will provide his full name and banking information in order for the refund to be processed. Upon receipt of this inquiry, we contacted the son of ******* alum Mr. ***** and explained the program details. **** ALERT! PCI Publishing Concepts - Unauthorized $496 Charge!Heads up, everyone! I just had a nightmare experience with PCI Publishing Concepts. They tricked me by pretending to connect me with college alumni in the area. I agreed to a $4.96 charge ($1.99 shipping, $1.99 handling) on 03/07/2025 ONLY. Then, they hit me with a WHOPPING $496.96 WITHOUT MY CONSENT.I've demanded immediate cancellation of my account ********* and a full refund. I've also stopped payment with my bank and disabled my card.This is a blatant breach of trust and potentially fraudulent. Has anyone else been tricked by their alumni connection claim? On March 7, Ms. ******* contacted us to participate in this program. That call, like all our calls, was recorded and the products and purchase amount were confirmed before the transaction was concluded. We received a follow-up call soon after asking that we switch the order to a payment plan.
As we were able to confirm there was no stop-payment with the bank and that the card used was still active, we have cancelled the order and issued a full refund to that card. If we can assist in any other way, please let us know.

I found out someone called my elderly mother (89 years old) and sold her on the purchase of the company's product. I take care of my mother's finances as she is unable to do so. My mother can NOT afford this purchase, she is on a fixed income. We just need her name and the name of the program she's affiliated with (we have a couple hundred programs in progress for colleges, private schools and associations around the country). I ordered an annual published book from my university, or so I thought, but didnt receive anything. I received two sweatshirts and two t-shirts but nothing else for the $540 I spent. This seems like a scam situation based on all the other complaints. This needs to be looked into!Business Response

On 4/8/21, I received a call from a Publishing Concepts representative explaining a project they were working on in conjunction with my **** mater (*************************). I participated in a recorded phone interview discussing my experience at college and fond memories I had. I also purchased a hardbound copy of the project which was supposed to be delivered in March of 2023. They required a 50% deposit immediately via credit card and advised the remaining amount would be charged upon shipping. 2021 was a crazy time due to the ***** pandemic and I lost track of this project Upon reviewing old emails recently, I came across the email nice for the $100.78 down payment but still had not received the book. I attempted to reach out to the company via email on 12/29/24. I received an auto reply saying that I would receive a response within two business days. It has now been almost two weeks and I havent received a call or a response to my email. Ive reviewed other BBB complaints and realize that this is a recurring problem. I feel scammed. I want the company to respond to my questions quiet and I want my money refunded. I also think its appropriate for this business to be properly investigated. They take money from folks and rarely deliver the promised product.Business Response
