I participated in this project that my former college, ********************, stated they were participating in. I ordered a T-shirt, sweatshirt and a digital copy of the Oral history book. I am not able to find the original email but I do remember that this process started in 2020 and I paid almost 400.00. Two years later there is still no book.I have asked for a refund at least twice. With them stating that the book had a shipping date of 3 weeks to a month. I am just looking for a refund of the price of the book plus tax.Business Response

Ms. **** has reached out to our client experience team several times, including about the apparel that she purchased (which was sent last year) as well as to inquire about the publication. We most recently spoke with her on 12/21/22 and confirmed the address to which we should send the refund for her publication. It was issued and mailed that day. In the spring of 2021, I ordered one 150th Alumni Association Anniversary book through Bloomsburg University in PA, for a total of $190.76. The book was delayed due to Covid. On 10.03.22 I received an email from Bloomsburg University that the book had shipped. On 10.17.22 I contacted Publishing Concepts via phone, stating I had not received my book. I was told that I would have the book by 11.01.22. No book arrived by that date. I called Publishing Concepts again. ******* stated she would look into it. On 11.23.22, ******* phoned me. She could not locate my book and there were no more books available. She offered a refund, or an E-Book. I was too upset to make any decision that day. On 11.28.22 I called Publishing Concepts and requested a full refund from ********** He advised me that the full refund of $190.76 would be mailed to my home as a check and would take 30 to 45 days for me to receive. I don't have any faith that I will actually receive my refund from this company, especially after researching them over the weekend and seeing that they have scammed many people. Before initiating a lawsuit, I am respectfully requesting that the BBB step in to hopefully ensure the return of my money. It is a lot of money to me, and represents approximately one quarter of my monthly income. This book was special enough for me to spend that amount of money, and I intended to hand it down to my daughter and grandson. On 5/12 I was charged 272.98
On 6/11 I was charged 244.98
I was suppose to get an audio book and a polo and a few other things it has been almost 6 months and I have not received anything. I call the number and I'm not able to get a hold of anyone.

In the fall of 2021, Alpha Tau Omega contracted with PCI to launch an Oral History Program. Information about that program is on their website here: https://ato.org/pci/. Throughout 2022, we've been gathering the stories of members (over 8,500 so far). Mr. ********* contacted us in May 2021 to participate in the program - he provided a story and made a purchase. His email receipt, sent on 5/11/22 to ***********@yahoo.com, indicated shipment in early 2023. We sent subsequent emails throughout May to encourage he complete his profile with a photo. We were unable to reach Mr. ********* upon receipt of this inquiry but did email him at the same address indicating we'd cancelled his order and were sending a full refund via check (to a Buford Hwy address in *******, Georgia). On 5/17/2021, I made what I thought was a $500.00 donation to the University of North Florida for a 50 year anniversary book, a travel bag, sweatshirt and t shirt. I was charged $500 on my credit card. Earlier this year I received the merchandise and no book. Contact with the company had not produced any results. The Google reviews for this company are loaded with similar compaints- paid for undelivered merchandise. This company apparently has a long history of similar complaints. Contact with the University has proved useless as they blame a former employee, which is an unacceptable answer. Publishing concepts needs to be held accountable for their poor business model of ripping off clients.Business Response

I purchased a 150th anniversary edition of Shriners International directory from Publishing Concepts on 12/29/20 (Order #XXXXXXX). Due to various reasons associated with "supply chain" concerns, as was communicated to me, Publishing Concepts was unable to deliver the directory until 07/21/22. Upon receipt of the directory, I discovered it had been severely damaged during shipment and immediately contacted Publishing Concepts on the same day, requesting a replacement. I spoke/emailed directly with a person by the name of ***** ****** at Publishing Concepts who indicated they would get me a replacement within the next 30 to 40 days. Many months have since past and I still had not received a replacement. That said, I emailed Ms. ****** directly on 10/26/22 and still have not received a response. Since the Vendor has failed to provide a defect free product and never made good on their offer to replace the directory, I am requesting a full refund of $204.16.Business Response

Dallas, TX XXXXX-XXXX on March 31, 2021 for an alumni yearbook for New Jersey City University. I have never received it. I have called, and each time I was told that there was a delay because of a "paper shortage." The last time I spoke to someone there, I was told that I would receive my book in July. I never received it. On August 8, I received an email telling me that there was still a "paper shortage" and that I would be receiving a digital version with in a week. I never received that, either. I would like a refund, since this company has been holding on to my money for one and a half years, and now they are telling me that they have no idea when the book will be done.Business Response

This company called stating that they were working on a project with the university I attended. It was some yearbook oral history project. I ordered a copy which cost about 230. It has been at least 6 months and I have yet to receive anything. This company took my money and supplied no product. I would like my money back.
