    There is a lot of favoritism here. If you have a friend in **, you can do whatever you want. The turnover rate of upper management is very high, so if you don't like a certain rule they have, they'll probably be gone within a year or two. The communication between departments is poor at best, if it exists at all, even within one department, let alone between shifts. Do not let the incentive for the night shift fool you, because the entire shift only barely exists due to the unreliable amount of work. Retaliation and the bare minimum are common, and you are replaceable. Just give the lowest amount of effort or quality of work, or you will be taken advantage of with no compensation for your efforts.
