    I hired ******* ******** of Kross Homes and Security (TDLR #******) to replace a fluorescent light with recessed lights in my kitchen and a pendant light in my entryway. During the work, ******** and his crew destroyed the glass cooktop in my kitchen island and refuses to take responsibility for the damages. What was promised as a quick job turned into a 10-day ordeal. ******** agreed to return to finish the job the afternoon of 8/14. I returned to supervise. All other supplies were cleaned up except a drop cloth, which covered the island. I was not happy with the work but I was frustrated and tired. I paid him the balance via Zelle while he was in my kitchen. ******** said, I know youre busy, Ill get out of your way. I left the room briefly and ******** sneaked out. When I returned, the drop cloth had been removed from the island and our glass cooktop, directly under the scope of work, was shattered. ******** deliberately obfuscated the damage with the drop cloth until he could receive final payment. ******** did not return my calls until the next day. He claimed that he told us not to take down some flimsy plastic drop cloth and we did anyway, so hes not responsible for the damage. He also claimed not to have seen the damage when he left (no reasonable person would believe that). ******** said that it was illegal for me to file a claim against his insurance, which is a lie. In *****, Licensed electricians are required to provide insurance information to customers upon request (16 TAC *********. ******** **** electrical license expired 11/29/2023 and it is an electrical apprentice license. It is illegal to operate as an electrician without a current, valid license (Occupations Code *********. ******** claims that another worker, **** (introduced as his helper), is a journeyman electrician. He did not offer that **** license number. ******** acknowledges that he did electrical work in the course of this job, even though his license is expired.

    Below you will find a full report on the dispute with the company Kross Homes & security. Because of their faulty work they cause further damage to my home's AC system causing me to have to replace it. The seased communication as opposed to fixing an issue they caused. The promised a replacement mother board and never followed through with that. At this point I do not wnat or need a motherboard as the entire sytem had to be replaced due to their incompentent work. I also complained about the airflow when after they did their work and they did nothing to fix that issue either. I would like a refund or for Kross Homes to pay in full for the new system that had to be done after his work in the amount of $7000.00 plus an additional $1462.81 for extension of stay in my Airbnb while work was stopped in my home because conditions became too hot for the other contractors to work thus causing a delay in my home improvement project.

    Here are all my documentation of what we service and recommendations we gave to the customer. 

     

    She claims we didn't deliver or install anything. I honestly believe she was committing fraud to fix her place up for free. 

     

    She also took back all forms of payment that she was insisting to be done by PayPal after materials payments. That she disputed via PayPal. 

     

    In other words she didn't pay for any of the services that we provided for her. 

     

    I placed a lien and had my collections team call her everyday. She claims we never returned her calls. 

     

    Please see attached invoice that she paid after she was satisfied for our services completed.
