I ordered a fire pit base from the Amistad Grill company on 8/11/2024. The company promptly took payment from my credit card despite the order not being filled. The order # is 3578. I have attempted to contact the company at least 4 times by e-mail and at least another 4 times by phone. The phone message insures that they will call back promptly but there has been no attempt to contact me at all. I have paid $242.35 three months ago. This is rediculous for a company to treat its customers this way. Based on what I am learning now, this is business as usual for the Amistad Grill Company. What can be done to resolve this issue? I would still like the product if possible, but at this point I feel that they are all a big SCAM!Initial Complaint

I purchased a part (a steel plancha) for my husbands grill on 6/16/24. The order number is 3569 and I paid $119.99 via my **** card. I received an email confirmation that I would receive the part within 7-10 business days. I have left multiple voicemails, emailed and tracked this package without response and without receipt of the item. There has not been a tracking number issued. The email confirmation makes you download another app called SHOP, and there it shows no tracking detail and says a tracking number has not been issued. I want my item returned or my money refunded ASAP. This is unacceptable and this business should be banned from allowing to operate.Initial Complaint

On May 6, 2024, I emailed Amistad Grill Cos customer service asking a question about their 33 low profile fire pit base and they promptly responded within 2 hours. I then made an order for that product that same day and paid $243.99. The site said that they will ship between ***** business days. It has been 25 business days and after multiple emails and phone calls, I have heard nothing from the seller. After looking at other BBB complaints listed for this business, I suspect the site is a fraud.Initial Complaint

On 1/3/2024, I placed my order from Amistad Grill Co. for item # AG-24-BRE at a final cost of $163.58. I received an e-mail confirmation and they charged my credit card the same day. On 1/15/2024, I received an e-mail from Amistad Grill Co. stating the fulfillment of my order has started. Since that e-mail I've received no further correspondence. I sent an e-mail on 2/5/2024 asking for a status which I received no reply. I called and left messages on 2/7/2-24 and again on 2/9/2024 to which I received no response. I had faith this was a legitimate company but now ashamed of myself that I've been scammed. May this be a warning to all.Initial Complaint

Same as others. They advertise that the product will arrive within 5/6 days yet its been past a week and my order still shows in process rather than packaged or shipped. I've tried calling at their advertised times of operation and no one answers. I've left messages and no one responds. I've left emails to customer service and no one responds.Business Response

die to demand and personnel issues we are fulfilling orders as fast as possible and within the limitations a small business has.
I understand some customers become frustrated and we are trying hard to hire personnel to assist with customer service

On 2/20/23 I ordered AG-19-SS Fire Pit Base (order #****) from Amistad Grill Company's website and was charged $219.99. The website said ***** business days lead time after purchase. On 4/4/23, I received an e-mail apologizing for the delay in response to my e-mail query from 3/20/23. On 5/12/23, I received a ***** shipping number (shipping label created on 5/12/23) in response to another e-mail query that I sent on 5/8/2023. On 5/19/23, I sent an e-mail asking when the product would be provided to *****. On 5/26/20, I sent another e-mail asking that Amistad Grill Company get the product to ***** for delivery or I would be submitting a BBB complaint and contacting my credit card company to request reversal of the charges. I sent a final e-mail on 6/12/23 indicating that I was submitting a BBB complaint and contacting my credit card company.I have not received any response from Amistad Grill Company since the ***** shipping label was created on 5/12/23. The ***** tracking still shows that the label was created on 5/12/23, but ***** never received the product from Amistad Grill Company. I have tried calling Amistad Grill Company many, many times on the phone during their published business hours and they never answer. Messages left on the telephone answering service are never returned.I'm not going to make a bunch of negative comments here about Amistad Grill Company here, but this has been a very negative experience. I listed Delivery/Refund as desired settlement, obviously I don't expect both. Delivery would be preferred, but this needs to be resolved. If I don't hear from Amistad Grill Company after they receive this complaint, I will be contacting my credit card company. And if necessary the **************************** of the ***** Attorney General's office.I have copies of billing, e-mails, and screen captures of ***** tracking to support this complaint.Customer Answer

I ordered an AG-19-SS STAINLESS STEEL/ALUMINUM LOW PROFILE BASE FOR X19 ($176) on 12/28/2022. I received an email 02/21/2023 stating that my order #**** had been fulfilled, was being prepared for shipping and that I would receive a tracking number. I have never received a tracking number or my item. I have called their customer service number *************) four times and was able to leave messages three times. I have also contacted them in writing ******************************************** on 03/20/2023 about the issue. On 10/15/2022 I ordered the spark arrestor for the Breeo 19" and received conformation the same day. After inquiring through their website of order status (no answer via phone) I received an update on 12/1/2022 stating they don't have an ETA for my order due to paint supply issue. On 12/5/2022 I received an email stating they were sorry for the delay due to steel supply backorder. On 1/23/2023 I received an email stating the "new" delay was due to paint backorder, again. On 2/24/2023 I received an email stating my orders shipping status had changed and expect tracking number in 1-3 days. I received the tracking number and, according to the ***** site as of 2/24/2023 @ 1:06 PM, the label has been created). As of today 3/22/2023 the ***** status is still "Label Created". At the time of this complaint the lead time on their site states "DUE TO THE POPULARITY & HIGH DEMAND ON SOME OF THIS ACCESSORIES THE LEAD TIME WILL VARY BETWEEN ***** BUSINESS DAYS AFTER PURCHASE", for me it has been 158 days from the date of order to today (3/22/2023) and still know idea when I might receive my order, beginning to wonder if they meant ***** months instead of ***** business days.
