On Friday, December 27, I took my car in for routine maintenance. I waited on my car, paid and drove off. Immediately after pulling onto the street, I noticed a loud noise and wobbling. I turned back to go to Eckert's. Upon arriving, I explained the situation. The Service team identified that only one lug nut had been put on (versus five) to one of my car wheels. They put on the other lug nuts and apologized for the situation. As a consolation, I was offered a free future oil or car wash. After going there for years, almost having a very bad accident on the road due to Eckert's negligence, and spending almost $1,000 for service, I found the offer of a free oil change insulting!!! Frankly, I feel devalued by Eckert's action. I shared this information to Eckert via their survey asking for feedback and received a text that the Service Manager will be calling me to remedy the situation. That was sent December 28, 2024. Still no response. On top of this, I sent a well detailed letter to Eckert explaining how I feel to Mark ********************* ****** ******, R ****** and the Generic Eckert Email address on Feb 16, 2025 (done in response to an unsolicited email asking me to trade in my car). And guess what, still no response. To have no favorable response from Eckert Hyundai after almost 2 months states a lot about the lack of integrity and commitment to customer safety plus customer satisfaction.

Took my 2023 GV80 ******* to Eckert for a oil change. Picked it up later and drove it back home and in the garage it went. On Sunday left for our family gettogether one hour down the road I get a alarm of low oil ! I pull over quickly a sure enough oil is low and we are out in the country nothing around. We let the car cool down some and drove 10 more miles to our destination. We went back to ***** and told them they were apologetic, but do I have to check the work they do? I will be going some were else. ******

Eckert Hyundai damaged my steering wheel, lost one of my lock nuts, and PREFORMED SERVICE ON MY VEHICLE I DID NOT APPROVE (which was a tire not covered under my plan). I made an appointment informing them I would be having work done under the wheels and tire package they sold me. After I picked up my vehicle they tried to offer me new lock nuts for $240 and charge me for a tire I didnt ask for. Disappointed in how they handled a bad situation. Only reconciliation offered was to have them undo the work on my vehicle for no charge and replace my lock nut. Spent 4 hours to have 2 tires replaced and then they want me to spend another 4 hours undoing their work and still have a damaged steering wheel. This will be my last visit. I bought my Elantra from them but will be purchasing my vehicles else where in the future.

Ridiculed, disrespected, by **** and **** and had paperwork shoved in my face multiple times by **** the sales manager **** refused to speak with me via phone or email when I asked about returning the required nonrefundable deposit. I started out working with the sales man and sales manager. Once they said I was basically wasting my time because I signed an agreement and the owner would not refund the money. I decided to go to the dealership to speak face-to-face with the owner, ***************, as he refused to respond via email. Nothing had been escalated on my end and I had been very courteous and offered a good review as the salesman had been wonderful to work with. **** was down right degrading and disrespectful with his tone and language. After placing a non-refundable $1,000 deposit on a 2023 Palisade (not ordered by me, but is an allocated vehicle that was already in transit to the dealership prior to my deposit) **** (because **** would not handle his own business and stormed off to hide) refused to let me test drive the Palisade VIN: ***************** that I have a non-refundable $1,000 deposit on. He then walked to my personal vehicle and ridiculed it. When returning to the sales office he shut the door in my face and locked it stating, "we have the right to refuse service". All of this after they refused to refund a deposit. The deposit was placed Tuesday, December 20, 2022. The dealership was closed Saturday-Sunday, December 24th-25th. I contacted the salesman Monday, December 26th. I attempted to contact daily. I went to the dealership on Friday, December 30, 2022. I will say that I did my research regarding all reviews. I was impressed with the positive reviews and the wonderful salesman that helped me out. I personally believe that their reviews reflect the sales department and not the sales manager, ****, and the owner, **** E*****. I believe they also take legitimate negative post down which may be the reason they have such high ratings online.
