Order#******** was missing 2 coins out of my order of 8 upon receiving the order. I inquired, showed what packaging I had, and the quantity of individually sealed items. While they did show me a photo of "an order" being processed they showed 8 coins on a table, then 8 coins not on a table. How do I know that they did not fall out of bubble wrap when transferred to the **** plastic packaging. They did not try to make this right. I will unfortunately stick with local and JM Bullion for future purchases.

    1. Date/transaction: May 7, 2025 2. Amount of money you paid to the business: I agreed to sell and SD Bullion silver and gold bullion through their advertised mail-in program. 3. What the business committed to provide: SD Bullion agreed to pay $14,270.33 for silver and gold bullion.4. Nature of dispute: I packaged, took photographs, and mailed through ***** with an SD Bullion insured shipping label the following: 1) two 5-gram gold bars; 2) five 10-gram gold bars; 3) one 20x1 gram gold "Combibar"; 4) one kilogram silver bar; 5) six 10-ounce silver bars; 6) one hundred 1-ounce silver rounds (shipped in 5 tubes containing 20 rounds per tube). After the package was received, SD Bullion claimed via e-mail they did not receive all of the silver I shipped. Specifically, they claim they only received five 10-ounce silver bars (rather than six) and eighty 1-ounce silver rounds (rather than 100). I took photographs of each item before putting them in the shipping box and also photographed the contents before it was sealed, and ALL of the silver is in plain view. In addition, the weight of the package when shipped (according to *****) is consistent with ALL of the precious metal being in the box at the point of shipping. I have provided all photographs and tracking documentation to SD Bullion to no avail. I believe SD Bullion has shorted me payment for 30 ounces of silver at an agreed upon price of $906.40.Whether business has tried to resolve: They claim to be looking into it but 10 days have gone by since my first discussion with them about this dispute with no action. Remarkably, they initially claimed the right to retain ALL of the bullion I shipped without payment until an investigation was completed before making ANY payment ($13,363.93!) but after I explained that was theft, they eventually paid for the amount of metal they acknowledge was received. Advertising: They claim on website this is a safe and efficient way to sell precious metal

    Hello,
Thank you for your message. As shared in our previous correspondence, our team received Mr. ***** buyback package and, upon inspection, found it was not double-boxed or fully sealedpackaging requirements that are clearly outlined in our buyback instructions sent on May 8. Due to the insufficient packaging and resulting damage in transit, we were unable to move forward with the remainder of the buyback. However, we did proceed with payment for the metals that were received.
Additionally, weve clarified that SD Bullion does not insure packages through *****. Our insurance policy applies only when packaging guidelines are strictly followed, including the requirement for double-boxing. While we understand Mr. ***** frustration, this matter falls outside of our coverage criteria.
We regret that this outcome has caused disappointment and have communicated this clearly and respectfully via email. All communications and photos of the package condition upon arrival have been documented.
    Sincerely,

These guys pulled the classic Bait and Switch scheme. I received an email from them advertising Peace silver dollars in BU condition. When they arrived the tube and packaging were marked "PreBU" which was a new term to me. I called and was told that they were actually AU. I wanted to go on to a solution but he said I must send pictures ( reasonable), but after sending the email I got an auto response telling me to wait ***** Business hours...not ***** hours, but business hours. I appealed by phone that the situation was worth addressing more quickly...I was told to wait in line, then hung up on.

    Hello *******,

    I hope you're doing well.

Thank you for reaching out to let us know what happened. I reviewed your case in detail, and I see that it has already been resolved with the best outcome.

It appears that we followed the proper steps to complete the exchange, which was positive since you already received the replacement coins. If that is not the case, please let me know.

Please note that all our cases are taken seriously and handled in the order in which they are received.

    We apologize for any misunderstanding.

    Best,

I am rejecting this response because: The 25 returned coins were the worst of the lot and merely a compromise solution. The real problem lays in a solicitation to me via email to sell BU coins only to receive something less. This must have been purposefully done, because almost anyone could tell that these coins were not BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED. See the samples I've attached.
