  I made several orders from sd bullion. **************** was ok until The cancellation notice showed up. All I can say is beware itll cost you a small fortune.

  The Ounces of Bullion I was sent had dents on the corners, scratches, and toning. I did not receive any support from **************** other than the option to have their policies read out to **** am sure when they first started they were a reputable company who put customers first, however, their questionable business practices, unclear descriptions of bullion, and deceptive sales techniques have led me to give this company one star. I have purchased from countless retailers and bullion distributors. I have never run into this issue before. I highly recommend you pick a different company.

  My Experience with SD Bullion A Cautionary Tale On June 13, 2025, I placed an order for precious metals totaling $3,638 with SD Bullion. The order was confirmed in writing, full payment was made, and the shipment was initiated via *****.On the scheduled delivery day, I waited in vain. According to ***** tracking, the package had allegedly been delivered on Thursday, 6/19/25 at 11:19 AM. However, upon closer examination, it became clear that both the reported delivery time and the recipients signature Signed for by: M.***** were falsified.After conducting my own investigation and spending several hours following up, I was eventually informed by SD Bullion that they themselves had canceled the order after it had already been shipped. Furthermore, they had instructed ***** not to complete the delivery. The stated reason: I had purchased the coins at too low a price. Technical, or listing issues.This claim is factually incorrect. I paid above the market rate at the time of purchase. It appears SD Bullion later deemed the transaction insufficiently profitable and unilaterally decided to reverse it.Only after more than two weeks and numerous emails did I finally receive a refund of my payment on July 01, 2025.Conclusion:?This conduct is, in my view, unprofessional, misleading, and potentially unlawful. I strongly advise against doing business with SD Bullion. The company disregards valid purchase contracts, wastes customers time, and acts in bad faith.

  Purchased a tube of Silver Eagles and received 3 coins which had significant discoloration and wear and 1 was completely tarnished. I forwarded photos to SD Bullion and they admit the the 1 tarnished coin was a cull, however their representative thought nothing to include it in my order. Why not as there appears to be no accountability to the customer. This reflects a company with absolutely no quality control protocol. It further illustrates that product is not on hand and has to be obtained leaving customer to accept what is on hand regardless of quality. If it gets returned customer bears the inconvenience, shipping charge while SD Bullion gets access to funds immediately suffers no market loss and perhaps customer may even accept low quality product. I have delt with ***** and Monument Metals and both have offered exceptional service and quality product. If you are serious in purchasing for preservation of wealth utilize someone other than SD Bullion . You will not make up the premium, Eagles have the highest premium of bullion coins, if they are of low quality. I have selected to return the low quality coins accept whatever loss in addition to shipping and take it as a ****** learned and utilize SD Bullion no more. The premium may at times be lower than APMEX or Monument Metals but it's not enough to overcome the headache and inconvenience.

  The team over at ** are some of the best I have ever done business with. They have wonderful customer service and their prompt with shipping. Their prices are probably some of the lowest in the industry. I highly recommend SD Bullion for all of your precious metals needs.

  I purchased a Gold and Silver Purity Testing Scanner with Bullion Wands - Sigma Metalytics for ******** on *** ** *****  Order Number: ********  I received my purchase yesterday, *** *** ****.
  I read the User Manual, but was still unclear on how to operate the item. So I went online looking for a YouTube video to see how to further explain the operation of my purchase. When I was online the screen showed me a vendor that was less expensive the your item at *********  I called your company at **** **, *** *** **** and spoke with a Pamela, I guess from Customer Service. I asked her if your company would match the price that the other vendor advertised and she confused the heck out of me with her explanation. She stated that I would have to call your company before I would purchased the item to see if your company would match the offer. I said to her, why would I call your company when I found a better other with another company? I then gave an example, if I would purchase an item from a store and then come back home and looked thru an ad I had just received in the mail, that company that I purchased the item from would match the price of the ad. ****** stated that I could return the item, but the doesn't make sense to return the product because it would cost me even more to do this.
  Again, I have trusted SD Bullion to give me the best prices on their products.. Why would I have to go and look for other companies prices, when in the past I've been given the best price from SD Bullion. **** dollars is a lot of money to me, and now I do not trust SD Bullion anymore and will never purchase anything form them again.

  SD Bullion is a trusted online retailer for my metal purchases. They are very focussed on customer satisfaction and offer free shipping for purchases above their identified order total. I like how they "hide" the origin/return on the package - it's a shame we can't trust **** personnel and the other premium delivery services - SDBullion is smart to abstract the sent from address to help hide the fact the package could contain precious metal. I've made several purchases with SDBullion over the past 6 quarters. Good Prices, Free Shipping, and they take care of me when there is a problem with the order.

  SD will process your order if spot price for gold drops between the time you place your order and they process it (which can take up to 48 hours). However, if the spot price increases between the time you place your order and when it is processed, they may cancel your order on suspicion of fraud. When speaking with customer service they do not help at all and simply tell you that you can repurchase at the new higher spot price rather than fulfill your order at the lower spot price. They state they can't control spot price, which is true, however they can control business transactions, and if it suits them to not sell to you because spot increased 2% or 3% in the time of processing they will definitely cancel your transaction at your expense with no reasonable explanation, even if you send them your license and bill with name and address. I personally would never do business with SD Bullion again. I'd rather do business with Money Metals, JM Bullion, *****.

  I've had 14 transactions with ** over the past 6 years. If my May '25 transaction was the first, it would have been the last. Color me 100% dissatisfied on their recent customer service. I'd give a zero star rating, but it won't register.
