On February 27th, 2023, an individual came to my workplace in **********, ********, and claimed to be a sales agent for Saladmaster from Royal Apron. The pitch was that I could get utensils worth $8699 from Saladmaster for free if I signed up for the program and convinced six people to join. However, if I was not able to get the six people, I would not get the items in question. Looking back, I realized I should have known better. I quickly started running around looking for people to join and was able to get two people. Before I could get the other four, the items were delivered in front of my door. I tried to contact the sales agent, but to no avail, so I decided not to unbox any of the items until I was able to contact them. All the items are still sitting in my house unboxed. On July 17th, before I could hear from the sales agent, I received a letter from *************************************** claiming that I owed them $14676.28 for the purchased Saladmaster products and that an account had been opened for me with a payment plan. Upon receiving that notice, I again tried to contact all the parties involved, from the agent to Saladmaster, but to no avail. I have tried to return the items to them and have the amount they claim I owe canceled, but it seems that none of the parties involved here is interested in that option. I tried to call ***************************************, but they told me to contact my sales agent, and I could not get through to Saladmaster or the agent. I am making this complaint with the hope that you can use your good office to contact any of the parties involved, have me return their items to them, and have that account with *************************************** closed. This is because I have medical bills payment plan to deal with, and adding this unneeded payment plan a month is going to drive me insolvent.

Salad master is an MLM preying on elder financial abuse. Their representative came to my house to present to me and my dad. we declined the offer and she left. After the presentation. We declined to purchase or sign up. Unbeknownst to me, she went behind my back and started trying to resell the product and the sales recruitment again to my dad. He is 76 and has fallen for a few scams so we make financial decisions together or with other family members. *** took advantage of the fact that I was working during the week and took my dad out to lunch and not only swindled him to purchase but signed him up under her as a dealer and told him she would split his commissions with him, which is obviously wrong alerting me to know that her intent was never to sell to me but to ******* my dad into financial obligation and then went ahead to make him agree to give her 50% of any sale he makes. He paid $500 to start for cook ware of $4800 and set up $90 a month for 5 (five) pans/pots.
