      My mother receives an aide, if that's what you call it, to do light housekeeping and take her to doctors appointments, grocery store... I've asked her on numerous occasions to back in so that my 78 year old mother didn't have to walk around the vehicle, she's not steady on her feet and especially so when there's snow and ice. Yesterday, she backed in to pick my mother up but when they returned, she once again pulled straight in and my mother walked around the car. Today, my mother has been in bed sick, with a fever.. as far as light housekeeping, no way, she does absolutely nothing except sit on her phone and play games or text with whoever she's having an affair with. I don't believe it's very professional to sit and tell my mother if her infidelities. My mother likes her well enough, and that's fine, but when it comes to my mother's safely, which the woman take and texts on her phone with my mother in the car while she's driving, no to mention addus knows she is driving and continues to call her regardless. I feel like I'm making this woman's money while I'm there because I do most all of the housework period. And the staff at Addus, rude, and didn't have the decency to contact my mother when her helper won't be there. She has missed many doctors ordered tests because of Addus. They are horrible! Corporate needs to step in and do something before someone the up hurt or dead due to negligence. I will contact a lawyer if anything happens to my mother due to the irresponsible people!

      Addus is literally taking advantage of people by using a complicated system of cell phone applications that are really an embarrassment and embezzlement scheme! Really it subtracted taxes from "cell track" reverses it back to " wisely" which then reverts it back to guess who ? ADP!! This leaves the employee upset they cannot access daily pay! *** was in the news for "employee shaming"and pointing fingers at innocent employees for this! They are evil af and I cannot even log in leaving a room for clerical error to underreport attendance hours earned, for that day... Really Read what I'm writing!! This needs to be justified because I witnessed this with one of the **** best special agents around! Where is his badge, gun, and everything else!? Oh yeah still working and doing good things while he's kidnapped!? Go find someone who wouldn't be able to be under the amount of stress that guy is!

      Addus HomeCare has attempted to contact the complainant by phone on October 15, 2024 and  October 23, 2024 and by email on October 23, 2024, October 25, 2024, and October 29, 2024 to request more information to allow us to fully investigate this concern. Unfortunately, the information provided in this complaint is insufficient to allow Addus to fully investigate and resolve this matter without additional details and cooperation from the complainant. 

      Addus takes these complaints seriously and appreciates the person taking the time to bring these issues forward as these matters are very important to us. We remain open to future discussions with the person regarding their concerns. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

      My complaint is against this company I have this company for backup and on weekends I have not received care from them for several dates and if they come they dont stay their full time and leave I have one good worker and they refuse to send her they refuse to send me a worker claiming I have bed bugs and I dont at all

      Been calling niles il.office on June 18 2024 ar 12:40pm cst time and left my in dead air I sed hello no one answered me, also no one answers there phone **** right to voice mail no o e returns call can't get case manager thay called to let me know caregiver starting then on June 18 2024 we had 2 caregiver cal us one of them sed let's talk to me manager ok **** called sed go wi5h one should be here at 10:30am cst time no one showed up look bad for company all I want is caregiver to help me thanks ***************************** not right paying and not getting caregiver at all its as if ***** il office don't care

      The client (********************* ********) did not make the complaint but she said her son did without her knowledge. The client stated she is very happy with her homecare aide as well as her service coordinator. The son also denies filing the complaint but said he filed a complaint against another company. The issue appears to center around not being able to get through on the telephone on June 18, 2024 and the first day of service the caregiver failed to show up. Another caregiver was assigned for the next day and there have been no complaints since. She is now fully staffed with a worker.

      The client was told that if she ever has any problems or issues with her caregiver or service to contact her service coordinator immediately.
